Yeah, but there's no need to abstain from it! Talking your problems out can be extremely helpful, especially if you feel a little lost on your own. There's no shame in venting like that. It's a good thing.

Tell you what. I'll ban you at the end of tomorrow if you're still dead set on it and I don't hear anything back from you. But this seems a little knee-jerked and out of the blue, so take the rest of tonight to just breathe and think it over. If you want to stay, just let me know. Not trying to make this difficult for you, just wouldn't want you to lose a network of friends and support because of acute negativity.

If you feel that being banned will overall help your situation, then do what you need to do.

However, if LA is your only real outlet for you to talk about your issues, then leaving may do more damage than good. Everyone needs to be able to talk about their problems at some point or another, and if you cut yourself off from your only place to properly vent, it will start to build up which never ends well. Since everyone on the boards has different life experiences, there could be a number of them who have good advice for your current situation. Also, don't feel that you are cluttering up the boards with your problems. Life has its high points and low points, no one is exempt from this, you happen to be in a low point right now.
