So yeah... WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THIS AIME BEFORE?
Seriously though, this has got to be one of the funniest animes I've seen recently. It really surprise me with how random and campy it was and even though it was loaded with characters and various different themes, it all seem to work together. The only thing that sucked is that it ended far too soon (Just 13 episode). Just as soon as you feel the series is reaching it's climatic twist, it just ends within two or three episodes. It really felt like there should have been 13 more episodes. Oh well.
Has anyone else heard of this show?

Heard of, yes. Watched, no. I think it's in my Netflix queue? I haven't really been in the mood to start a series. They're lengthy investments.

Well it's a short series so it's not that lengthy of an investment. I seriously went through six episodes in one night because it was so addicting.

Activity? In Anime?
I haven't seen it/heard of it. Might see what it's about.

Apparently not many people have. ): I found it on Netflix and decided to give it a shot. I was not dissappointed.

Yes, my ex is a huge fan of it. I've seen a few episodes, and I liked them, I just never get into anime.

I've watched all of it, I really liked it. Have you seen the subsidiary media? I think there's a manga, radio show and a light novel, or something, that were released showing different parts of the story... Like, the light novel is a prequel story. Agreed that it could have been a bit longer... I ought to rewatch it sometime.

There's also a drama CD from what I've heard too. But no, I've only watched the anime on Netlix. I don't have the money to go out buying everything anime related like I used to but if I did I could really get into Angel Beats.

Forget finishing Buffy. I'm going to spend my day off watching this!
Thanks for the tip.

Ah, yeah, Angel Beats. It was pretty neat. I liked the ending, although I do think it would have been better if it had been drawn out more. Good taste.

It was good. I finished it in 2 days. I'm surprised they didn't make a second season.

Is there anywhere for a second season to go? I suppose they could go back and flesh out some more of the story, or have a new cast of characters being helped to move on...
