Yup..

So Aydin (my oldest who is 6) went through the Toys R Us book when I asked him what he wanted for the Holidays. The only thing he wanted was that new Super Mario 3D Land game, which he doesn't have the 3DS for.

Now, you'll are thinking "he's 6, Mario isn't that easy...she must be asking for heart ache and pain and misery of having to listen to him cry when he dies over and over in Mario"

Well,

just so you know he has beaten Mario 64 for the DS and he is getting pretty good at the New Super Mario World for the DS....I think he will beat it pretty soon..

Anyways...we looked up the prices of the 3DS and the game on the black friday ads for Target (cause Target and Toys R Us are the only stores we shop at for toys)...they have a deal there for 179$ you get the 3DS and the new Mario game. which isn't a bad deal at all..

HOWEVER! This week, they had the 3DS at Target, where if you buy one you get a free $20 gift card. SO if you do the math, that is ONLY 10$ more dollars to buy it THIS week then to wait until next week, praying you beat the psychotic zombie crowds of Black Friday. That's if you use the 20$ gift card towards the game....


which we did.

So we got Aydin his new Mario game and the 3DS system....

btw...I wanted the 3ds....so now...I am gonna go get myself that new Zelda game hahahhahahahhaha ..... killing two stones with one bird! (yes I know that I said that, it was a joke)

oh! I told Benny we should get a large box and fill it up with socks and underwear...only to have the DS at the bottom hidden...

I think that would be a cute idea, because he's be SO excited to see the DS at the bottom.

Just do what my dad did...take it out of its box and just watch him unwrap the empty box...then cry for a while before waiting till after breakfast/dinner/whatever meal is important for you that day (ours was dinner btw) before giving the real present.

He told me it was so I didn't play with my presents all day rather than spend time with my family...but really I know it's because he loves to torture me.
That was back when the 64 was big...I got that empty box and he got me a game organizer too...only enhanced the pain.

My family has always kind of played with their Christmas gifts all day long, just everyone does it in the same room, and Mom and I are always in and out of the kitchen all day working on food.

Once, when my younger brother was about 5, my dad wrapped up a box full of old stinky socks and gave it to him. He cried for about 30mins
