I wish I had got the GC version. I wanted to replay it not too long ago, but the Wii controls stopped being "oh cool I'm using a wiimote!" and were just a matter of, "Wow this isn't as fun."
And then I went to look for the Gamecube version and it costs more used than it does to buy a new copy on the Wii. Bah. BAH I SAY.

Gamecube version is infinitely superior.

Well, yeah. I'm talking about when people refer to the Wii version as if it's the only version that came out, like when smashbros.com said that the Bridge of Eldin "...appeared in the Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess," (especially since that stage is oriented like the GC version, and the game features Link as a southpaw), or when people refer to the game as a "Wii installment" in the same sense as, say, Super Mario Galaxy.Well, technically it's true.

GameCube version all the way. By the by, it's bugged me for years how people refer to TP as "a Wii game." Anyone else?
