I've been playing through Majora's Mask for the first time lately. I just made it to Woodfall Temple. I have also been doing a lot of side-quest stuff, so yeah

Overall, I'm totally loving it

Be SURE to do the Kafei/ Anju sidequest as well as the alien cattle abductions. Then there's Goron and Zora racing and the shooting galleries and.....

There's a lot of stuff.

Yes. I actually took care of a couple side-quests before I even made it to woodfall, including a big chunk of the Kafei/Anju one.

I just finished replaying through it. One thing I've still never done is cheated the lottery every day for three days... You'd think that would be one of the first things to do once you master time travel...

Gyorg is still the hardest boss, but I managed it a little better this time. Most annoying Heart Pieces to get are probably the ones from the shooting gallery; for the swamp one, you not only need a perfect score but you have to do it fast to get bonus points.

It's not really worth doing the Kafei and Anju quest until you've at least got Romani's Mask, and you can probably hold off on it until you've got to Ikana so you can do the whole thing. (At least, I'm assuming you need Romani's Mask to get into the Milk Bar on the third day; sometimes he seems to let you in without it...)

Just don't be like me and do half a spider house bfore you realise you can't finish it without either the Hookshot or Mikau's boomerang fins. Stupid floating tokens!

My most used item still has to be the Bunny Hood. Run fast everywhere!

I beat both already, but I only got the quivers. Need to do them again.

I did the spider house without either of those things

Make sure you get the Captain's Hat, so you can talk to the Stalchildren in Ikana!

What Leo meant to say was make sure to get the EVERY HAT cause Fierce Diety Link IS A BOSS.

Captain's Hat is required to complete the game. He can't not get it...

Ikana was just a massive fetch quest, really.

Defeat Skull Keeta to get the Captain's Hat to order the Stalchildren to open the grave to get the Song of Storms to calm Sharp (or is it Flat?) and get the water flowing to activate the Music Box to kill the Gibdos so Pamela comes outside so you can heal her father so you can get the Gibdo's Mask so you can talk to the Gibdos so you can get through the well so you can get the Mirror Shield so you can get into the castle so you can defeat King Igos du Ikana so you can learn the Elegy of Emptiness so you can climb Stone Tower so you can enter Stone Tower Temple.

In regards to the Captain's Hat, it also makes Igos du Ikana think you're Captain Keeta when you wear it during the battle with him.



Then he realizes you're too short, and becomes confuzzled.

You should also be able to buy it for Virtual Console on the Wii; I think it's like 1000 points or something around that.

This means that Rova already thought of Elven as a god before this thread.
