OHAI! Welcome to Kisseena's Kitchen!
I'm your host, Kisseena!

Today we will make Cinnoman Roll Pancakes with Cream Cheese Icing. Sounds yummy, yes? Well then, let's begin! ^.^

First, make sure you gather all of your ingredients together so you have everything ready, like this!
Posted Image

First thing we get ready is the pancake batter! Now, no cheating! It's better if you make it from scratch! Don't have Aunt Jemima make it for you!
Get your flour, baking power, salt, milk, and egg ready in a bowl.
Posted Image

Then, wisk, wisk, wisk, wisk, wisk!
Posted Image

Now, let's set that aside while we make our cinnamon filling.
Take brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
Posted Image

Mix it all together and put it in a sandwich bag and set that aside, too!
Posted Image

Here's the best part, the icing!
Take cream cheese and butter and microwave them until they melt.
(Cream cheese doesn't like to be microwaved... at all. Splatters everywhere.)
Then add powdered sugar to the melted butter and cream cheese.
Posted Image
Make sure you mix it! :D

Cooking time! Heat your pan up on medium-high heat.
Posted Image

Take non-stick spray and pour the pancake in!
Posted Image

Let it set a little, then cut a little hole in the corner of the sandwich bag and make a pretty swirl design on the pancake.
Posted Image

FLIP!
Posted Image

TA DA!
Posted Image

Drizzle the icing and enjoooy. :3:
Posted Image Posted Image

Don't give any to the cute doggy watching you! :P

Recipe link is RIGHT HERE.

Yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy. <3

That looks delicious. They don't do pancakes like that over here in blighty; the pancakes tend to be as thin as paper and just aren't the same. Whenever I cross the pond, if I'm not having Tim Horton's for breakfast, I'm having fluffy pancakes.

I haven't done any proper baking for a while, just been cheating lately with store mixes, but I usually make some xmas tree cookies during the holidays.

That's quite a simple recipe, but it looks amazing. Are we gonna have to open a cooking forum?

I might do it more often, considering I'll be cooking more when I'm in college.

It was good, but omg I couldn't eat it all. Too much pancake. DX
I get full fast. :P

Man, if we had a cooking forum, I think I'd break down and starting photographing my cooking and sharing with everyone. I am a damn good cook, but I never take photos of my food...

The hard work of cooking is not required as a minor. ;d

Ditto with Selena...

Although, I consider very little in the way of home cooking to be hard work. It's only when I go nuts and it's more like home catering that it reaches the "work" level, for me. I love cooking <3

No! If we have a cooking forum then I'd have to invite Ben to join. And I've worked hard to not do that so far. xD

MODS! Cooking forum get? :)

Like any other forums in the past - if we have a demand for one, we'll open one! If I start seeing Kisseena, DP (your cooking may be...unconventional, but it's cooking all the same), and others doing this once a week or so, you might have started something new!

Also, these cinnamon roll pancakes totally beat out the actual cinnamon rolls I had last night, in good part because these can easily get along with syrup and whipped cream.

I believe, my fellow forum-goers, that Chik has presented us with a challenge!

Right, guess I'd better open an account on a photo site. o.o

Good job Kiss! I hate making pancakes.. I can't do it. For some reason I just cannot cook pancakes fully.. there's always something wrong with them.

Are American pancakes more like Scotch pancakes? Ours are usually thinner, as Marty says... We certainly don't use baking powder.

All-purpose flour isn't self-rising flour. For a flour to become self-rising flour, you need 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt for every cup of flour.

But yes, American pancakes are similar to Scottish pancakes, only much bigger (usually), and the thickness varies from cook to cook! My mom always made them thin, but then I think she was just too lazy to make crepes.

We have thinner pancakes, I just like my pancakes FLUFFY. That, and I can never make a good, thin pancake.
