Imzury! Okay, it only took me what, two years to finish this? I blame my copy of the game. It kept glitching out on me, requiring me to redo large portions of the shrines. Still! Here is my complete playthrough of Zelda's Adventure!

I ended up kind of winning when I wasn't expecting too; forgot Ganon ambushes you when you grab the last sign. Oh well.

Ahem! For those new to the game... This is the third outing on the Philip's CDi for Zelda and Link, and the second game where you play as Zelda, trying to rescue Link. It's completely different to the other two CDi games, bearing almost no resemblance to them - other than the fact that it uses real voice actors. Forget just voices, this one has full motion video of actors! Going back to the Zelda roots, this is a top down style game split into screens which scroll along when you reach the edge. The control are pretty simple - the D-pad moves Zelda, Button 1 performs actions and Butotn 2 opens the menu. From the menu you can select a large assortment of weapons and items for Zelda to use. Most of the weapons are actually spells that Zelda casts with her magic wand; they're powered by rubies/rupees, which are also the currency of the game. More powerful weapons can take enemies out more easily, but will cost more to use. Set in the southern region of Hyrule (known as Tolemac), Zelda must find the seven Celestial Signs in the Shrines to restore balance to the land, and then defeat Ganon to rescue Link.

This reminds me: I need to overhaul the ZA transcription to include all alternate dialogue. Damn.... More work.

One thing I found was that pausing as soon as you enter a Kelpie's room in the Shrine of Water causes it to say some other line when you unpause; from some totally different character. Odd glitch...

Yeah, that happens for almost every talking character/enemy in the game. And there's alternate dialogue if you have to replay a boss fight and are running low on 'rubies,' the bosses will taunt you. I didn't record these taunts when I played through because I was focused more on making it through the fight.
