1) This monster is a floating skull that is on fire. It attacks by charging at players.
2) This zombie is armed with a shotgun, and is capable of doing three times the harm of his weaker brother.
3) This enemy is a purple translucent monster that walks faster than his cousin, and throws faster purple fireballs. He appeared in Doom 64.
4) This pink monster runs while hunched over, and attacks by biting. Players often prefer to use the chainsaw against him.
5) He is armed with a pistol, and is the weakest enemy in the game.
6) This skeleton attacks by shooting straight and homing missiles from a distance, and punches up close. This is the second most annoying monster in Doom II.
7) This brown monster attacks by throwing red fireballs, and claws at players up close.
8) This half-machine/half monster has a rocket launcher for an arm, and is the strongest and deadliest enemy in the series. Most players would prefer to use the BFG against him.
9) A floating red spherical monster with a big mouth full of teeth, horns on its head, who attacks by spitting lightning balls from a distance and biting up close.
10) This monster is like the monster described in question #4, but is nearly invisible and hard to see in dark rooms.
11) This is an early version of the monster described in question #1, but is gray, has energy around it, and attacks with a psychic attack instead of charging. He appeared in the Doom beta.
12) This fat monster attacks by shooting two fireballs at a time, three times in a row. He has two massive fireball launchers for arms.
13) In the original Doom manual, this monster had the description "Tough as a dump truck and nearly as big, these goliaths are the worst things on two legs since Tyrannosaurus Rex".
14) This monster is a cousin of the monster described in question #13, but has half the health.
15) This zombie is dressed in red, has gray boots, and is armed with a chaingun.
16) This monster first appeared in the Absolution Doom64 TC, and is a translucent, faster, tougher version of the monster described in question #9 who spits three lighting balls in a row for an attack.
17) This foe was the final boss of Doom I, and armed with a super chaingun.
18) This monster in Doom II is fast, tough to kill, has a fire attack that can only be dodged if you get out of his sight, and can resurrect most dead monsters. Ghost monsters result from crushed monsters getting resurrected by him. He does not appear in the PSX version of Doom.
19) This cousin of the monster described in question #9 attacks by spitting the monster described in question #1.
20) This foe is a cousin of the monster in question #4, but is inverted and translucent with twice the hit points. In the PSX version of Doom, he used a graphical effect called subtractive translucency.
21) This monster is the offspring of the monster described in question #17, but is smaller, much weaker, and armed with a plasma gun.
22) This guy appears in the secret levels of Doom II, and originally appeared in Wolfenstein 3D.
23) This is the final boss of Doom II. It appears to be a giant horned skull on a wall, and it constantly spawns monsters until defeated. To defeat him, you have to rise on a pillar and shoot rockets into the hole in his skull. If you use the no-clipping cheat to go behind him, you'll find a sprite of John Romero's head on a stick.
24) This was the final boss of Doom 64.
