Most people have a game they play first, and I was wondering what the majority does and why they do it. A gameplay element, a story element? I'd enjoy hearing what everyone does and their reasons for it. I haven't played them in years, but I usually would play Seasons first because Ages bizarrely has Link referred to as the messenger of Hyrule at the very beginning even in an unlinked game. But I wonder what everyone else thinks.

So, which Oracle game do you think comes first, and why?

I like to think of Ages 1st, so that in a linked game I find the final sword in the woods. It just seems more consistent with the rest of the series.

I literally played both simultaneously. Well actually I only had one GBA, so technically one cartridge had to be placed in first over the other but it was so long ago that I don't know. I had no real preference, gameplay or storyline wise. I guess Seasons should go first since it's Din and Din should always precede her sisters.

I preferring doing Ages first because it somewhat fleshes out Queen Ambi's storyline and makes the Pirate Captain's appearance make a bit more sense.

I played Ages first, stopped on the end boss, year or so later I played and beat Seasons. To this day the cartridge is up to the point of the end boss in ages.
