I've just thought of something that should please all those weird-termina-theory people.
Remember the intro? Link walked through one of those weird twisty hallway things from the Forest Temple...
That means.. it's entirely possible.. that TERMINA IS THE UPSIDE-DOWN WORLD ON THE OTHER SIDE OF HYRULE!
How do I know hyrule is flat on the bottom? In Ocarina of Time, i stood on a very high place and looked over the 'walls' and saw that the sky was a mirror image below a certain point! :o that means hyrule's a floating flat island with termina on the bottom!
Just TRY to argue. ^_^

Actually, it's a bunch of pixels formulated by a creative genius, and MM's universe is another ENTIRELY different group of pixels by an only slightly different team! *gasp*

j/k, but still you have an interesting theory, it makes sense. But wouldn't Termina ALSO be in a different dimension?

The whole aspect of it being a different dimension sits with me best. I always thought of it as almost a Allice in Wonderland esq world.
As for looking through the walls in Oot I used to like to do that in Mario 64 as well, which also showed the sky for some reason.

There was a definite Alice in Wonderland influence in MM.

And they reason they always showed the sky was because it is... the background. If you don't have any polygons in the way, you'll just see whatever the game has for it's sky.

'Cept I prefer the White Rabbit to the Happy Mask Salesman. It's like Tingle spawned with Peewee Herman or something...

Ya, I always thought Tingle was kinda wierd too. Dunno quite what the developers had in mind when they made him.

I dunno, I'd always preferred the idea of Termina just being another land in Hyrule.

Well the instruction manual refers to it as a parallel dimension to Hyrule, so that is pretty much all I think of Termina as being. That's my thoughts on the subject.

Yeah, Terranix, it's not IN Hyrule, it's LINKED to it, but you get the point. I think the Tingle thing was a failed attempt at making a funny character. IMO, Zelda doesn't need a funny character, many characters are just funny all by themselves.

Yeah, I know its more or less set in stone, but considering just how involving MM was it always rankled that it didn't really matter, you know? Termina was just some random mirror world.
