Well, not really. If you try buying it online, you'll be swindled. But dry water does exist.

It's not really pure water, though. It's basically water with silica, but the amazing thing is that it's 95% water and could be potentially used to soak up gases.

I would imagine it would be like drowning in a silo of grain, which can happen.

Is it sad that I think the coolest thing about this article was that the scientist is referred to as "doctor?"

But yeah, definitely interesting stuff.
