There will always be that one person who you look at and ask yourself, "Why can't I be that good?" then again..someone might look at your art and ask the same thing.

You should just be glad you have talent =D

Yea people already do look at my work and say that. I've had people say i hate you and your talent. Of course they are joking cause they are my friends but I understand. But this guy blows my mind.

There are some people who use the same tools as me and I ask myself...why can't my work look as cool as theirs..

Haha! This is great! I loved the one with the matchsticks. Man I can't even imagine the kind of work this guy must put in before he actually does these. I could never do that kinda stuff 'cause just...all that planning and stuff is just....so not my style. I like to just go in and do it and figure stuff out as I go. XD

It takes a lot of balls to make art that you know you're gonna have to destroy in the end. I still haven't managed to throw any of my sculpture projects away. I made a 6 ft giraffe out of cardboard a few years ago and I couldn't take it when we moved... So I put it out on the street with a sign that said it was free to a good home (wasn't any other option - I decided to let it go ON moving day 9_9). Some guy eventually did come and take it and I cried like a little baby. ;___;

Ohh man the one with the fries is crazy. I wanna do that now. XD

HAHAHA WHAT I'm pretty sure I've never seen pee art before. I've seen poop art but definitely never pee art. Lmfao. This guy is great.

Oh yeah. Definitely wanna paint with my feet now. That looks like so much fun.


Also, this post reminded me of this list I see all over the internet... its called something like "How to be miserable as an artist" and one of the points is to always compare yourself to other artists. Like Emi said, there's always gonna be artists who are "better" than you, always. It's just a thing you gotta deal with in the art world. I always know whether or not I'm in a good headspace if I see work that's better than mine and it just makes me wanna improve rather than makes me feel like shit. XD

Rova you should definally paint with your feet sometime, its awesome, I've done it before...hmmm i should do that again sometime....

Yeah I'm throwing this video up on my roommate's wall and telling her she has to do a feet painting with me this summer. XD

Using jeans is a neat idea too. I have so many pairs I don't even wear anymore. o.o
