Hey I just noticed something for the first time in a while. I remember back before the most recent version of the IP Boards, (so one version prior to what we are using right now) there was a space on the top of the boards to put your username and password so that you may sign-in directly from the main page.

Where did these two little boxes go? I'm curious to find out what their status is, because now that it is summertime, I am at home sharing my family's computer; during the year on my own laptop, I did not need to worry about signing in and out, because I remained signed-in at all times. But now for the first time in a long time, I need to sign in and out frequently and I could not find this convinient little set of boxes. Now there's just the button on the top to take you to another page. It's the tiniest little detail, but it just hit me today that it was missing and I was wondering what happened to it, and if we could possibly bring it back.

And while you're looking for this, can you look for the 'enable emoticons' button for the fast reply box? I still miss that thing.

You have no proof it ever existed, Rova.

As for the quick log-in, just one of those things that disappeared in the update. Not entirely sure it can be brought back.

I have proof in my brain! I remember it being there! I hardly EVER used the actual reply page unless I had to quote people. >_>

And, I guess I expected as much about the quick log-in. I don't see why the forum gods that designed the update thought it was useless, but eh, what can you do? *shrug*

I think they test things out sometimes. Maybe it was somehow unstable or they got negative feedback? I never used it, so I couldn't say for certain. XP

I used to use it all the time and never had a problem. Now I tend to log in by clicking the reply button and skipping through the (irritating) error screen. Don't ask me why.
