I just came up with an interesting Zelda Wii storyline idea based on two of the rumors awhile back: the time travel one, and the one that says OOT's Link is this game's Link.

It would go something like this: Someone could begin causing trouble throughout the Zelda timeline by causing trouble in order to revive the original Ganon, who might be FSA Ganon. OOT's Link would be called upon to chase Ganon throughout Hyrule's history on the CT and destroy him for good. All the way from the FS games all the way to the distant future in Hyrule and other lands. Throughout the adventure, he would fight most of the primary foes from throughout Hyrule's history: Vaati, Malladus, and a few of the Ganons. At the end he would have to fight the first Ganon in the distant future and destroy him by destroying the trident and shooting him with a bunch of silver arrows. Or an even stronger arrow. This would end Ganon's legacy for a long time. At least until someone steals his title.

I also have an idea for a Zelda story set in the future in which Ganon is revived and steals a spaceship, but that's a fanfic for another time. I wonder where I come up with these ideas.

This. Sorry Ganonlord, but that was in no way logical. Furthermore, aside from the Master Sword girl, we have nothing to even use as a basis for Zelda Wii. This whole "OoT Link" thing is just the result of crazy fanboys obsessing over ZW Link's hair, ignoring the fact that many Links look identical.

This. Sorry Ganonlord, but that was in no way logical. Furthermore, aside from the Master Sword girl, we have nothing to even use as a basis for Zelda Wii. This whole "OoT Link" thing is just the result of crazy fanboys obsessing over ZW Link's hair, ignoring the fact that many Links look identical.

I have to admit it is more crazy than anything else. It was just something random I came up with. I do think that ZW is probably going to be a prequel to the Master Sword/Triforce games. Now the second idea I'll try to make a fanfic on later... I can imagine Ganon doing that. If Hyrule could barely deal with him, then let some other planet deal with him. Not that they could.

They seem fake to me. Some of it, anyway. I'm still trying to figure out why Miyamoto called attention to the fact that Link didn't have a sword in the artwork from last year. That and the girl in the artwork bears far to many resemblences to the Master Sword to be a total coincidence.

Okay so Ganonlord doesn't feel all weird and alone or whatever I'll post my own wacky "zelda in SPACE" fanfic idea that I've been tossing around for some odd six years now:

It starts off with Link riding Epona towards ganon's lair to save Princess Zelda for the Upteenth millionth time, as Ganon's minions attempt to sacrifice her to bring back Ganon to life. Basically your generic Zelda plot climax. But the twist comes early on when a blinding light evelopes the room just as Link enters and Zelda is abducted by mysterious pointy-earred angelic beings of light. When the light dies down Link is left in a room full of monsters who are just as confused as he is. Before Link can deal with them however, the building around them starts collapsing around them and it's every man/monster for himself as everyone scrambles out of the building. Once outside, they are horrified to see a whole quarter of the sky covered by a gigantic metal ship, with a huge pillar of fire at it's center shooting down into the ground.

A strange old woman appears behind Link and tells him there's not much time and as he grabs Link by the hand, they too are enveloped in same blinding light and reappear abord a ship orbiting the planet's surface. Through a window on the ship, Link watches in horror as the whole planet starts to break up and implode on itself and the same alien craft flies off with Zelda in it flies off to who knows where. Hyrule is gone forever, along with the Triforce and Ganon. Link and Zelda are the only survivors. Zelda being kept captive by beautiful though malovent beings who call themselves the "True Hylian Race" and later reveal that they believe Zelda to hold a remant of their power, a power that had been lost to them and they wanted it back. Meanwhile Link reluctantly must team up with his strange rescuer who later reveals that she is one of the beings of Light, an exile for questioning their plans to destroy Hyrule. Even later it is revaeled that the beings of Light were the ones who craeted Hyrule as an insignificant mining colony, nothing more until they discovered that the Triforce, a remnant of their technology was mistakingly left behind. Fearing that the people of Hyrule would becoming advance enough and use the Triforce to laeve their planet and pose an intergalactic threat, the Beings of Light, had Hyrule destroyed, Triforce and all, believing that it had become currupted (by their standards). Also, it's hinted that the old woman is Farore though she dismisses the idea offhand and calls the Hylian religion a huge lie implanted by her people. According to her, the Goddesses never existed and the Triforce is nothing more than a tossed away floppy disk.

The true prize Zelda and the power that was concentrated in her, Some of that power existed in Link, which is why the old woman rescued him. She tells him that she can see the flow of energy that connects him with Zelda and spans throughout time. That because of this connection, she needs Link to rescue Zelda and stop the Beings of Light from extracting taht power, because she feared that if her people regain their god-like status they will be driven mad and return to their barbaric roots. Link teams up with the old woman as they go planet hopping through the universe, Link perfoming a number of strange tasks for the old woman, all the while learning that Hylian religion was far more widespread than his own little planet. Each world he encounters has their own version of the Triforce. Each time he arrives at a world, the beings of Light show up and destroy the planet. Each time, Link gets blamed for it, as more advanced space-faring civilizations catch on to Link's travels and he unwittingly gets the reputation as the "Harbinger of Death" or the "World Ender." Link starts questioning the Old Woman's motives, who increasingly becomes cold and distant from him. When he attempts to subdue her, she violently hurls him into the wall using only a fraction of her physic powers only as a mere demonstration of her strength should Link double cross her. She also reminds him that his race was created with pointy ears so that they could be obedient and subservient to her people. Link continues to follow her commands, though he still has reservations about whether she is good or evil, which she repeatedly states she is neither. Link eventually has half the universe wanting him dead and several bounty hunters try to claim his life.

Eventually it turns out that the old woman is indeed Farore, which she alter reveals in her true as a Being of Light. Her sisters Din and Nayru were at war, leading different factions of the Beings of Light, with Nayru's army holding Zelda captive and Din's army seeking to claim Zelda as their own. It seems the two Goddesses were fighting over how the universe should be govern by their race. Din wanted a more militaristic rule where their religion was spread at the edge of a sword, and only the powerful survived and the weak were culled from the strong and killed. Nayru had more intellectual ambitions and wanted their religion spread through political manipulation and propaganda in order to doop the "lesser" races into thinking they were truly gods. Farore was disqusted with both sides and took the form of an old hag to hide from her sisters. Zelda meanwhile learns from her captors that they once were benevolent beings who had amassed so much technology that they became gods in the eyes of neighboring worlds. At first their intentions were for good, to help enlighten other races they deemed barbaric. But having lost their mortality they lost their sense of humanity and their pride drove them war against other races and amongst themselves.

In the end, Farore sacrifices herself to take down her deranged sisters in order to save Link, Zelda, and the rest of the universe. As the Goddesses are sucked into a black hole, a new Triforce is created in their wake, more powerful than the last which would make whoever touched it essentially God. Zelda then gives the rest of the Beings of Light an ultimatum, either cease their cherade or get the fuck out of her galaxy. Being stripped of the godlike powers they all choose to cower away and ascend to other realms of existence. At first Link and Zelda are tempted to use the new Triforce to wish Hyrule back but feared it power would currupt them like it id did the Beings of Light so instead use their own Life Force powers to shatter the Triforce and sactter it across the universe where it aws sahred equally amongst all the sentient races, essentially making each individual master of his or own destiny. While everyone celebrates their new free will, Link and Zelda secretly board Farore's ship and continue to travel the universe, the last two Hylians in existense.

Basically V the series meets Battlestar Galactica meets Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy meets Babylon 5 meets meets Super Mario Galaxy Zelda. Clearly I have no intention of actually writing any of this.

Very interesting. I was thinking something on the lines this:

Ganon is revived (or a new one steps in), he finds some spaceship, kills the owner, then steals it (after trying to figure out how it works). He then attacks the homeworld of the goddesses (who have feared all of the Ganons) and holds them captive so they can make another triforce for him. They send someone to find a new Link who removes the MS and chases after Ganon with it. He also gets the Triforce from the SR. He eventually finds Ganon and Ganon steals the Triforce. He then kills the goddesses because he no longer needs them. Before they die, they tell Ganon that with them gone, the Triforce will only be able to grant one last wish. After that, it will be gone forever. Failing to tell him that the other inhabitants of the "goddesses'" home planet could repower it and create a new one. In a fit of rage, he takes the triforce and takes off in his ship. He then destroys the home planet of the goddesses. Link (as well as Zelda and someone else they find) are teleported away from the planet and they confront Ganon in his ship. Ganon destroys the world that contains Hyrule, Holodrum, Labrayna to name a few (Nintendo really needs to think of a name for the Zelda world). Link shoots him with a Silver arrow (or a more futuristic silver weapon) and seals his soul within the MS. It is then destroyed, destroying Ganon's soul along with it. Link and Zelda then use the triforce to restore all the planets Ganon destroyed on his rampage along with everyone he killed. The goddesses then entrust the Zelda world to Link and crew becasue they destroyed Ganon for good. Something that even they couldn't do. They entrust the triforce to them as well ad the goddesses finally leave Hyrule forever. however, this occurs on the CT, Malladus is still alive and takes Ganon's place.

That's just a rough idea.
