Help - Can anyone read the file I have attached?

It is the first page of the Japanese manual for Zelda 2 (GBA - 2004). I own a Japanese GBA version of the game.

If anyone is able to read/translate it, I am particularly interested in the text below the picture of Link. I believe it may have timeline relevance to us, at least as far as answering questions as to what extent (if any) the Japanese manual for GBA modified the Zelda 2 story.

If anyone can let me know if it is readable I'd appreciate it.

My apologies in advance that the file is in Pdf format - I'm afraid that is the best I have at the moment.

Do any of the manuals seriously modify the storylines, though? I know Nintendo tend to summarise the events more in rereleases, but isn't it standard fare for rereleases in general to give more to-the-point manuals? I don't think Nintendo are all that concerned with actively changing the stories of the older games.

Well, my thinking here (And again I am reaching because I don't know what the text means) is that if the text is a storyline summary, a modification of the "Sleeping Zelda" tale could be here - At least to the extent maybe the Japanese manual in 2004 has thrown out the idea she is the "First Zelda".

I don't know - Just speculating. Either way, I'd like to at least know what it means. It does not appear to be "game instruction" material as its location in the manual is not in the same section.

From what I can tell, it doesn't differ from the English manual in any meaningful way.

The only thing that differs from the original SNES manual is that at the top it says "manual".

Isn't this manual already translated on Zelda Legends?

The one which KJ wants translated is the exact same one as the SNES one which we have translated, save for the word at the top which translates to "manual".
