The Secret of Monkey Island is a point and click adventure by LucasArts set in the Caribbean during the Age of Piracy. At one point in the game you have to learn Insult Swordfighting, where you have to give the right responces to the insults while swordfighting your opponents, until one of you lose your sword.

Indeed, play it! And then Monkey Island 3: Curse of Monkey Island. That is still my favorite! It had the best graphics, even in 2D they were the most atmopheric I've seen in any game, and great gameplay along with the original puzzles to solve. The later 3D games just ruined it. >_<
The evil zombie pirate LeChuck would fit in pretty well with the Koridai with his ability to kill flies just by breathing:

I actually preferred the graphics in Monkey Island 2.
