I just thought of this quesiton. I think an anime would be best for this story. Or at least a TV show that builds up to the sealing of Ganon. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

An anime. Its a different take in a new, grand direction. It is very easy to sit and watch an anime. The story, the attention to detail, and you can lay back and relax to take it all in.

+vote for anime.

There is no option in a Zelda franchise.

There should be. I don't understand why the IW needs to be made into something, it's just the back story for ALttP.

No "In an instruction manual"? :P

Maybe an OVA? It's not really long enough for a series.

I always thought Ocarina of Time was the IW.

I always thought Ocarina of Time was the IW.

OoT used to be considered the IW, but with some of the newer games (WW & TP) it's no longer really possible for it to be the IW. Although some people still cling to that idea and support it, despite evidence against it.

Like Lex?

I wouldn't be asking this question if Nintendo didn't make such a huge void between TP and ALTTP.

That's the idea I'm going for. As long as we don't have a repeat of what happened with the cartoon. I even have a good scenario: A young squire or page (not Link. I shouldn't have to mention why) is being trainned by the nights when some idiot sorcerer, or an evil one, breaks the seal around the FS and releases Ganon. The release would weaken him and turn him human. The main character's village could begin to fight with each other after they hear about the triforce, then Ganon would lead the gerudo to the SR and kill them all after finding the triforce and using it to become a demon again. He would then lead his forces into Hyrule to conquer it, and at the end, we would see the battle when Ganon kills all of the knights. The squire could help the sages, after awakening them after Ganon kills the other ones, cast thr seal on Ganon and seal him away until ALTTP. The squire would be the only survivor of the knights of Hyrule.

Would this be a good idea?

What about a comic book or manga?

A spin-off Zelda game that doesn't involve Link. Woudln't have to be the exact same genre either. I could see it as a much heavier action based game with more traditional RPG elements.

Zelda games don't need to involve Link. IW could work great as a spin off.

Just put Bruce Timm in charge. Everything will be fine.
