My heritage is Irish, German, English, with small dabs of Cherokee, Dutch, Polish, and Czech. Also Portugese, because my family has black Irish as well as red Irish. *waits for Fin to come make fun of our terminology XD*

American. Georgian, to be exact, but I'm Virginian by birth. The deep south is kind of like it's own country....

Bloodline-wise? Southern Italian, Scotch-Irish, Scottish (with an indirect claim to the Calhoun tartan), English, and just a touch of Cherokee.

Quarter German, with the rest a good mix of Scottish and English, filtered through several hundred generations of piracy and attempted American presidential assassinations.

*points* NORWEGIAN. AHAHA.

...Sorry, indoctrinated by old Swedish people to do that.

And yet not sorry, since Norwegians once locked my grandfather in a cage and paraded him around town.

I'll be watching you, missy. >__>

I find all nationalities to be interesting with their own history and traditions. Though I am trying to understand what American 'culture/tradtion' is.

American culture is greatly influenced by other countries, Since America is the melting pot of nationalities, we have traces of ancestry all over the world, and no original culture.

Spoiler

I'm sure the Native Americans would take a different view on that subject. But my interest lies in what other countries think of American traditions, holidays, culture, etc. But I am derailing this thread. So maybe another time.
