Super Metroid really pissed you off?

Not so much the game itself. Finally beating it, it's one of my favorites. But I greatly dislike large-scale exploring (especially when you don't know where to go), and I greatly dislike Ridley.

I've never played any Metroid game... but that description sounds awesome enough that I kind of almost want to try now. XD

Ahhh... I love exploring in pretty much all games, and the Ridley fight is just the right difficulty for me. Challenging enough that things are tense, and I could easily die, yet not so hard that I'm frustrated all the time.


Man, I wanna play Super Metroid now.

Same here.. XD I actually have uhh.. some Metroid game for Gamecube or something? Prime, I think? I never really played it, I just got it for Christmas one year.. :X

God I feel like an awful gamer now. XD Not that I ever really considered myself one..

I played the GCN metroid for a bit but never really got into it.  I'm not sure if Metroid is really my cup of tea in the gaming world, but you guys have me convinced to give it a try.  I'll remember to test-drive it when I have the time.
