I know that Capcom likes to recycle items, characters, and weapons, but in FSA, which was made entirely by Nintendo, the FS has the power to repel evil and in even says when you collect 2000 force gems in a level that the FS sparkles with the power to repel evil. Ganon tells Link in TWW that he cannot be defeated with a blade that doesn't sparkle with the power to repel evil.
I know this could be coinsedence, but if this is accurate, then TMC is most definitely NOT before OOT or ALTTP. This would even allow TMC to occur after TWW. What do the rest of you think of this?

Masamune: I agree that this means nothing.
Person: I also agree that this means nothing.
Erimgard: I too agree that this means nothing.
MikePetersSucks: Of course this means nothing. That was obvious!
Person: I agree again that this means nothing.

I know. I just thought that it was worth mentioning. Oh, when you are talking to me or about me, you don't need to include the 6000 part.Ganonlord6000: I've noticed that two swords look similar, but I acknowledge that this means nothing to the timeline.

That is not a fair comparison. PH is in another world altogether.Phantom Sword looks simliar and is the only thing that can defeat Phantoms/Bellum.

No it's not, and even if it was, it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference.

Problem with your observation is these similarly designed swords don't help the argument for a Zelda timeline, all it merely demonstrates is Nintendo's development staff are forever paying homage to the Master Sword incarnation from ALttP and nothing more. But if you really think so, then how would the Noble Sword fit into this mess? After all, that is also modelled after the Blade of Evil's Bane, just as much as the Four Sword is.I was playing through TMC a few days ago and noticed that the Picori Blade bares an uncanny resemblence to the Master Sword. First off, their apperance is similar. Second off, the blade was glowing before Vaati destroyed it. And three, I think I saw a marking on the Picori blade in about the same place the Triforce mark is on the Master Sword. It is even called the sacred blade.

I feel the need to refer you to the backstory in ALttP SNES manual: The Master Sword wasn't made to protect the Triforce, it was made so it could combat the power of an evil person misusing the Triforce. According to ALttP, the Master Sword is so powerful it actually disrupts the Golden power of the Gods, HOWEVER because of this attribute no one could weld it properly, and thus it never saw use in the Imprisoning War.The Minish gave the Picori Blade to the hero, while the ancient sages forged the Master Sword to protect the Triforce.
