That's really freaky. It's like some small creature was inside trying to claw its way out or something. I don't like snakes at the best of times, but mutant wall climbing snakes? Ugh.

I really hope that the headline is just sensationalism, because I'm just an engineer and I'm not shocked. Snakes evolved from reptiles with legs. It's not impossible for one of them to have a leg, just like some humans are born with tails.

That's true. This is the first snake with a hand I've ever seen, but with such mutants as two headed kittens, etc. popping up now and then you'd think an armed snake wouldn't shock them too much.
