Once there was an earthquake in this part of England, and I slept through it, but I think one of the worst kind of natural disaster that could happen where I live is if the Island of La Palma collapses., but other than that nothing interesting happens. I guess that's what happens if you live in England.
I sort of did, but I guess I'm just weird.....I hadn't in my wildest dreams even THOUGHT pictures like that we're on the internet...

We Kansas get God's finger o' death.
Scientifically known as tornadoes. I can't really imagine much scarier than watching a 3 mile wide funnel of AIR bearing down on you at about 60 miles an hour. Causing havoc and what not.
A couple years ago, this city Greensburg literally got wiped off the map by an F-5.. 5 miles wide:
Actually the Greensburg Tornado was 1.7 miles wide. It is extremely rare for a tornado - even an F5, to get any larger than one mile in diameter.
And 60mph is nothing. I've -driven- in 60mph winds with no tornado, and when they are in tornado form, it's just a really strong F1. That'll do nothing more than blow you over or topple your car if it doesn't have a solid center of gravity, or tear the shingles on your house.
F5s come at you with 170-200+mph winds. The force of these things can tear entire roads out of the ground.
Sorry for the nitpicking, I just had to point out that your entire post contained false information.

You misquote the 60mph, it wasn't spinning at 60 mph, it was MOVING at 60mph as in speed of travel. And yeah I dunno where I got the 5 miles wide, that was fail of my part. So not all of my post was false, there was one typo on my part. As for the 3 mile wide statement, that was part of the humor of the God's finger o' death joke. I wasn't trying to state facts right there.

Could be worse, Rova.
I think Catt carried around those two pics once.
It was for school work. I think.
Besides chelicerata can't get that big I think, they wouldn't be able to get another oxygen (at least this is true of insects). But I mean we don't get pig sized spiders, and we're better for it too I feel...

^___^ I'm glad that I'm so fantastic at making everybody go completely insane.I think DJ perfectly summed up my own reaction as well. Thank you, DJ.
....that said, Vet implied it in his first post, so don't act like y'all weren't pretending to play innocent this whole time!

Yeah.... I'm definitely thinking if it were GA the state I'd have heard SOMETHING about it.
Then again... where I work the ground is always shaking... so maybe not. Stupid 1000 ton presses. >_>
Yeah, if it were in the state, U.S. media would've been all over it. You wouldn't see anything else on television for 2-3 days!
1,000 ton presses? What kind of manufacturing does your employer do?

....I'm pretty sure the implication is that evil, foul omens follow you around, not amorous acts.

There should be a "all spider pictures must be in spolier format" rule.
&
a "Chik and Toan must never elaborate on their... uhm extracirricular activities" rule. (Heh, I loved DJ's picture reaction to this.. so perfect
