This is just a random timeline-related question I came up with. I personally follow the Child old story timeline as it is the only one that I see as possible.
I don't even know what that is.
As for me, I think I have four different timelines swirling in my head. I've got the one in my signature, which is the official timeline. I've also got that single timeline I posted not too long ago. I have a split timeline which more or less follows your basic conventions. And then Person's sort of inspired me into a dual realities type timeline that effectively divide the 3D and 2D games into separate universes. Believe me, it's a mess up there.

I presume it means that the "old stories" (i.e. ALttP, LoZ, etc) go on the Child timeline.

How is the TOT theory official? Nintendo never said it was official (nor did they say anything about it) and from what I read it looked like a lot of fan fiction. Seriously. That timeline follows the assumption that there is only one Link which we know is not true. That and the TOT theory revolves around Tingle who is a very minor character. It is also going against the official split timeline. This is just a random timeline-related question I came up with. Ganonlord6000 has never been the same since his sense of humour broke up with him.

You sound surprised. I actually got those names from your timeline which makes far more sense than other timelines I have seen.Child old story timeline

This is my timeline. It's irrefutable.

Please tell me you aren't serious about this timeline. Especially with all of the non-canon stuff.

Since ganonlord will believe anything, I wonder if he can grasp the timeline I used to work under before TToTT was confirmed.

That's stupid. You left out all the hentai comics.

I figured I would add to the abstract timelines.
Behold, the timeline I created, 10 minutes ago!

Ganonlord 6000, grow a sense of humor. Mine was a joke. I wrote it after a particularly nasty debate in which both parties took a fictional universe waaaaaayy too seriously.
If this refers to the Donkey Kong thread in this forum, I would like to point out that everybody was joking. If not, well, don't mind me.

No. It was a debate I had over at ZU. Anyway, that satire timeline is a few months old now. Nothing to do with the DK thread.Ganonlord 6000, grow a sense of humor. Mine was a joke. I wrote it after a particularly nasty debate in which both parties took a fictional universe waaaaaayy too seriously.

That is good to know even though I have seen actual timeline theories worse than that with and without the non-canon stuff (which could possibly fit. Let me know if you want me to explain a possible way for the old spin-off material to work out with the games. This only works if the NES games are last on its timeline because Ganon neve died in the cartoon or the comics (Zelda had the chance to kill him twice in the comics and for some reason she let him live. This is something I will never get). I am not even going to attempt using the newer spin-off material like TRR (which is set in a DIFFRENT universe from the 14 main games) and LCT).Ganonlord 6000, grow a sense of humor. Mine was a joke. Tingle spends his whole "life" collecting money (Rupees, Force Gems) without working for them and living off the good will of other people and his father, lazing around and ignoring society so he can live comfortably. But then he's pulled out of his safe little dreamworld because the world needs him (the economy collapse), and so he must actually work for his money and become a contributing member of society.

I partly agree with this. I never believed that TRR is canon in the Zelda universe and it wasn't made by Nintendo. Oh. Was Nintendo involved with TRR at all? Oh. I think I put a timeline with the old non-canon stuff in my signature. I might make a better one in time. You guys, isn't it obvious that all the games but TRR are Tingle's dream? There IS NO LINK. He represents Tingle's repressed work ethic, and the whole series is a metaphor for a NEET freeter overcoming his fear of the work force.
