Legitimate question #2
So when I reference a temporal ban, I'm not talking about a suspension, though I was referencing it on my first post.
What constitutes a perma ban and is a person able to get around it by proving that they have indeed grown up?
If this was a dumb question ignore it.

Perma-bans are most often used for the following (but not limited to these - depends on situation):
1) Spambots
2) People who have had a temp ban and repeat the exact same mistakes.
3) People who make extremely flame-worthy posts (death threats, spamming the forum to make fun of one poster, etc.) or put up very bad NSFW stuff.
4) People who flame admins/moderators after they're told to shape up for whatever reason.
5) People who make two accounts, especially with the intent of fooling people maliciously or sneaking into two dorms.
6) A banned member sneaking back on the forums with a new account.
You do not generally get a second chance after being perma-banned.

EDIT: ok. Just read the thread. I feel bad for Toan though. Think you can unban him real quick to let Toan have a go? Maybe promote me to Admin level and let me have one too? PLEASE??

Portman vs Knightley, the Obama administration troops thread that's recently closed.
Fix'd.
