Most Abandonware is virus free... Even if it's not strictly legal to download.

I downloaded and played through LOOM the other day. It was... interesting. It's pretty short, but I'd recommend playing it. Try the excellent ScummVM.

it's not that there is something specifically bad about it....it's just that unless you are fairly tech savy, or got a copy of it that all/most of the glitches are out of; that it's hard as hell to use as an OS

I think Linux is pretty good (I'm using a computer with it right now), but what I really hate is the fact that it can't play Windows games and stuff. -_-

they have windows system emulators that you can use to play all the games on linux...lol

also there is a difference between the lingo and knowing how to create/mod an OS

Yeah..it's called Wine and it's really laggy. <_<
