Partially because it's fairly late, and partially because I'm curious to see what other people here collect or have as hobbies, aye, I'm throwing myself under the bus to kickstart this whole thread and to reveal just how crazily hopeless I am in my own collecting. While the subtitle is indeed what it is, obviously this is just to show what I have - and I'd hope no one here is pathetic enough to get off from bragging on the internet. o_O But aye, this is just for fun, and I'm also bored. So nyah.

Posted Image

Well, I guess I'll get this part out of the way first - my few video game figures, mostly Final Fantasy. We've got Tifa from both Advent Children and FFVII proper, Aerith from the latter, and Cloud from the former. Squall, Team Y.R.P. Ashe, and Judge Gabaranth, as well as Ivy and Nightmare from Soul Calibur II and Mai Shiranui from the King of Fighters...though this one's from SNK vs. Capcom Chaos. Also ineplicably here is Hellboy. Why? No clue.

Posted Image

My Marvel Legends and DC Universe figures, something I tried to stay away from for awhile but eventually caved and gave into. We've got Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Joker, Superman, Supergirl, Steel, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Spider-man, Mary Jane, Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, New Goblin, Sandman, black suit Spider-man (amazingly not just a repaint) Venom (all the Spidey figures are the movie versions), Ultiamte Wolverine, X3 Jean Grey, X3 Colossus, Cyclops, Rachel Summers, She Hulk, Dr. Doom, Ultimate Iron Man, the Mark I and Mark III suits from the Iron Man movie, as well as Iron Monger. Oh, and also Pepsi Optimus Prime (which was far too goofy for me to pass up) and, uh, Darth Vader that turns into the Death Star. It was a gift from a friend.

Posted Image

Underneath the Twilight Princess poster here we have Voltron (plastic version, since I wasn't going to drop $170.00 on a toy) as well as....other stuff. Yeah, the robot unicorn and robot dragon, woooo.

Posted Image

Next to'em we have Masterpiece Starscream and my Decepticon Alternators - T's that transform into real cars. There's Battle Ravage the Corvette convertible, Shockwa....I mean, "Shockblast" the Mazda RX-8, Rumble the Honda Civic, and Ravage, fittingly, as a Jaguar XK. You can also see Megatron as a Cobra tank in here as well.

Posted Image

Okay, now to the bulk of the collection. This is my Cybertron Deluxe class shelf, Autobots to the left, Decepticons to the right, as it will be for the rest of my shelves. You can see all of'em, but it's Excelion, Longrack, Smokescreen, Hot Shot, Landmine, Red Alert, Downshift, Armorhide, Blurr, Brakedown GTS, Swerve, Hightail, and Override for the Autobots. Decepticons are Thundercracker, Thunderblast, Sideways, Wreckloose, Repugnus, Swindle, both the red & yellow Scrapmetals, Ransack GTS, Brimstone, Cannonball, Skywarp, and Demolisher.

Posted Image

The rest of my Cybertron figures: Soundwave, Scourge, Mudflap, Dark Crumplezone, Vector Prime, Jetfire, Cybertron Defense Red Alert, Cybertron Defense Scattorshot, and Evac. Also here are the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary guys - Tarantalus, Waspinator, Dinobot, Rhinox, Transmetal Rattrap, Cheetor, and the Transmutate Build-A-Figure, as well as Silverbolt and Inferno.

Posted Image

Naturally, below it is the Megatron/Galvatron shelf - BWX Megatron, TRU Megs, Transmetal, Transmetal 2 Dragon Megatron, Robots in Disguise Megatron, Armada Galvatron combined with Tidal Wave, Energon Megatron, Cybertron Megs combined with Nemesis Breaker in Dark Claw mode, Classics two pack tank Megatron, "Frozen" VOyager movie Megatron, and ANiamted two pack Cybertron mode Megatron with battle damage.

Posted Image

Here's my Armada and Energon collection - Scorponok, Bruticus Maximus, Constructicon Maximus, Sixshot, Thundercracker (Starscream), Demolisher, Slugslinger, Sharkticon, Cyclonus, Starscream, and Cruellock. Plus, Landmine, Superion Maximus, Arcee, Strongarm, Downshift, Hot Shot, Kicker with Highwire, Rodimus, Inferno, Roadblock, Prowl, Towline, and Red Ale - erm, Inferno.

Posted Image

My Classics collection - old characters given new toys with modern technology. Onslaught, Megatron, Starscream, Ramjet, Skywarp, Astrotrain, Octane - sorry, "Tankor" - , Galvatron, Acid Storm, Nemesis Prime, Silverbolt, Powerglide, Jetfire/Skyfire, Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Prowl, Rodimus (Hot Rod), Ironhide, Mirage, Grimlock, Silverstreak (Bluestreak), Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, and Cliffjumper.

Posted Image

The Animated shelf, as opposed to Transformers who aren't animated. Right. Anyway, Cybertron mode Megatron, Earth mode Megatron, Blitzwing, Lugnut, Starscream, Soundwave, Blackarachnia, Lockdown, Oil Slick, the Headmaster Unit, Grimlock, Swoop, Snarl (Slag), Sentinel Prime, Jazz, Bulkhead, Cybertron Optimus Prime, Earth Prime, Ratchet, Prowl, and Bumblebee.

Posted Image

The Universe shelf, though also with random odds & ends. Devestator, BM Ultra Jetfire, BM/RiD Optimus Primal, Micromaster Devestator, Nemesis Prime, Tankor, Obsidian, Blackarachnia, Frostbite, Overbite, Depth Charge, Micromaster Rail Racer, Side Burn, Inferno, Ratchet, Skywarp, Longhorn, Night Slash Cheetor, Repugnus, and oddly enough, G2 Snarl.

Posted Image

Some of my "big guy" figures, SUpremes and the like. Supreme class Cybertron Starscream, Armada Unicron, Cybertron Menasor, Cybertron Unicron tank, and Legends Galvatron, Thundercracker, Sunstorm, Soundwave, movie Megatron, and movie Starscream, as well as the model Darksyde that came with BW 10th Anniversary Megatron.

Posted Image

And the rest of them - Cybertron Primus, Cybertron Metroplex, Energon Omega Supreme, Cybertron Quickmix, Legends Class Vector Prime, Excellion, Cybertron Defense Red Alert, Galaxy Force Optimus Prime, small calss Titanium Optimus Prime and Ark from G1, the mdoel Axalon that came with BWX Primal, and last but not least, the severed battle damaged but not quite out yet Unicron head and Omega Lock with Cyber Planet Keys attatched.

I'll spare everyone the pain of going through my mini-cons, or the stuff I don't keep out on display.

And if anyone thinks my collection is obsessive....well, I beg to differ.

So yes, that'd be my infamous Transformers collection as of today. Soooooooo.....what do you collect? :prime:

I've got about 150 CDs. If I had money, it'd be over 200 by now.

But they're not nearly as impressive looking as your stuff, DJ.

I have a couple hundred manga and a little over a dozen action figures...but they're all at home and I'm off at college, so I can't add to the picture collection. And suddenly, I'm shocked and glad at how "little" I've spent on my habits. @_@

Admittedly, I'm one of those people who buys practically no merchandise, but on the odd occasion when I do get something, it'll be because it looks particularly nice (i.e. my Samus Varia Suit figurine).

I have a collection of Nintendo toys from when I was younger, as well as a collection of Jigglypuff stuff (they both shared a shelf in my room) but then we moved, so now all the stuff is in storage. I also had a box full, of Beanie Babies and Teeny Beanies (and I think even a couple Beanie Buddies), which is also in storage. Not anywhere near the collection my mom had though.
I do still collect toys though, whenever I get the chance. I have those Zelda figurines that I got off Ebay a few months ago, and I have all the Japanese Zelda mangas that have come out. I picked up a Toon Link plushie at Kumoricon, and I also have a couple Wiimote candy dispensers I got from Walgreens.
I also have a small collection of stuffed animals that I like (pretty much wolves and cats).

I wish I had room to display them, but my grandma's extensive collection of mystery, history, and hockey books fills up nearly every shelf in the house x.x

I have a collection of books, I suppose, if that counts. But I'm not at home to take photos. And it really annoys me that since I moved bedrooms I haven't had a chance to organise them properly. Up to the Cs are organised, and that filled two of the bookshelves I have...
Also, you could include my collection of Magic: the Gathering cards, I guess. I don't have pictures of all of it... But here's some of it, from last year:
Posted Image

And I guess you could count computer games as a collection. And LotR SBG figures from GW. And I have a collection of bookmarks, and pogs. Pokémon cards. Bottlecaps. A stamp collection I inherited, a rather poor coin collection. Postcards, maybe. Old birthday cards. Schoolwork going back to Reception. I don't like throwing things away.

... ... ... My room is so pathetically boring <__<.

I don't have anything interesting to show, except perhaps books (but who wants to see that anyway) . Not to mention that most of them are stored somewhere other than my room(not enough space).

I know someone though, that has a pretty decent collection of Marvel and DC figures(mostly marvel)... not to mention comics. His dad is a huge fan, so he mostly took the interest from him. The type of collection that you seriously consider stealing... enough to support you for the rest of your life.

I have a lot of coffee table style art books, but most of them are in storage.

I also like to collect 'unusual' plush critters - I have a bunch of dragons, Toad from Super Mario, an ant, robot and doggy Gir, a camel, two Lyme Disease bacteria, a Prinny, and a bunch of other critters in storage again. If I remember a photograph I'll post it.

i have an assload of videogames and swords/weapons...

a display katana (shiny!)
a display reverse-blade katana (hearty, but not very pretty...)
a functioning katana (razor sharp! and as close to authentic as i'll get for awhile, complete with real temper line!)
a POS scimictar
a display spear (chinese style! although i really want one of those japanese cross bladed yari's (i forget the term))
a display tai chi
a display broadsword
a display mastersword replica (i won it for 2 bucks! w00t video game store raffles!)
one pair: nunchaku
a butterfly knife, that i'm moderately proficient in flourishing
a 4 set of different designed shurikens (that i have fun with thanks to a cork dart board!)
a bokken (for fun/jackassery!)
a scythe (possibly antique and worth money, the handle-dealy, although missing the pegs, is crafted from a bent piece of wood that would have had to be molded after soaking it in water, and twisting the wood, then clamping said wood so it would harden that way)

i think thats all...

on the horizon:
a wakizashi as well made as my good katana
a shirasaya as well made as my good katana

i also have a pretty ballin airsoft gun. its modelled after a modified Mauser, with a longer barrel and stock, all metal and rosewood, with green gas it shoots about 400fps

i also have a Death Note xD i couldnt resist... its pretty cool too, very collectible, so i wont be writing in it at all xD, plus, it has all the rules written out! there are some 40 plus!

*Well.. the only thing I would say I "collect" are stuffed cows ;3 I dunno how long ago..or when exactly it happened buuuut my mom or something like that bought me my first cow and yeah it has now ended with me getting a new cow for every major holiday (including my bday) for probably more than 8 years..not to mention she seemed to have gotten me one for the random times i came back from college or just when she happens to find a really cute one for sale at a thrift store xD in fact she did that just like a week ago.

*I also have a small collection of video game/anime figurines though..it isnt very large xD

*there is also..my small collection of Ducks (CHIK YOU COLLECT THESE TOO NOT TO MENTION FISH) XD that i got from my Campus xD

*I also..though I dunno if you want to call it COLLECTING but I guess i call it that xD my collection of probably some several hundred books and manga.since I tend to buy a lot that I want and never read them xD that is why I would say "collecting"

I had a massive CD collection but nearly all of it was stolen earlier this year. ;_;

I have a few collectible figurines, but not nearly as many as DJ. I've got Armitage from Armitage III, two different ringwraith figurines from LotR, Kuchiki Byakuya from Bleach, Ringo Starr from Yellow Submarine, and the tall apple dropping dude from Yellow Submarine.

I don't have pictures of them right now so I'll put the stock images behind a cut (this is almost all of them):

I will also be inheriting a collection of frog figurines from my grandfather after he dies. It's an epic collection of frogs. XD
