Name: Sondyn Vertrym

Birthname: Kenton Windstrummer

Original: yes.

Birthplace: A forgotten village in the Trohar Grasslands.

Race: Turned Vampir (Silver, from human)

Appearance:
-Age: 19
-Height: 6'
-Weight: 190 lbs.
-Build: medium.
-Eyes: Depending on the lighting they look either blue or green. In moonlight they 'appear' to turn red.
-Hair: Blond, shaggy, shoulder-length.
-General appearance: Youthful face, pale skin, somehow muscular and sleek at the same time.

Clothing: Dressed as to never expose skin to sunlight. e.g. Long sleeves tucked under leather gauntlets, and a scarf woven around his head that covers all but his eyes, which are protected by 'goggles' he obtained from the copper dwarves. Also wears leather boots, and loose-fitting shirt and pants. All his clothes are colored with gray and green and brown to fade into nature. Wears a silver sword on his back.

Faction/loyalty: self, and at times whatever's convenient. Also somewhat loyal to the Silver Vampiri.

Strengths: Having been turned by the silver Vampiri, he has gained a combination of increased strength, the ability of Psichorian magic, and the ability to seem to disappear when standing still. Sondyn is more resistant to sunlight than the average Vampir, though only able to manage a few minutes with skin exposed.

Weaknesses: His transformation has also given Sondyn a dire weakness to fire as well as water, but only when used as a magical attack(i.e. he can swim just fine.) Sunlight, while not particularly damaging, does take away his increased strength and magical ability. As a turned Vampir, all of his abilities are nowhere near the same caliber as his 'brothers,' and can easily be overwhelmed by powerful Vampiri.

Bio: Deep in the countryside of Fa Hilder, Sondyn Vertrym enters a long since abandoned village. Searching for only a few minutes in the overgrowth he finds the remains of what had once been a house. The house had been the birthplace of Kenton Windstrummer--a name Sondyn had long since abandoned and all but forgot. The village and house brought back memories. Memories of a life long lost.

He had just turned 9 years old when it happened. One of the villagers had been found dead. There were rumors that it was the work of Vampiri--he had had no idea what that meant only that a bunch of people didn't like hearing that word--but the villagers dismissed it and went about their business, though cautiously. Then, three days later, another found dead, this time they had put up a fight, ineffectively. Kenton's father had been angry, told everyone that they needed to fight back against the Vampiri. But nobody listened. Said it was brigands, thieves, not 'that nasty V word'. Then Kenton's father took his mother's jewelry, their nice forks and spoons, everything that they had that was silver, and took it to the blacksmith--one of the only ones who believed him--and had him make a sword.

Then the bad night came. Kenton had heard a loud noise and woke up in the middle of the night. There was a stranger in his parent's room, His father was holding that sword the blacksmith had made, and his mother... His father shouted at him. Told him to run. And he ran. He ran and ran and when the sun came up, he was still running.

Sondin's eyes held no tears. He had cried them all out long since. On that night, ten years after, when Kenton first found this place. He had searched for weeks before finding it, stumbling into it, more like. Sondin stood up, and walked to two markers in the ground. Entering the shade, he took off his head-scarf in respect. That was where he had found his father's sword. lain under those two markers. The only thing left except for overgrown buildings. The people who lived here long since gone, and Sondin had no idea what had happened to them all. Maybe they had run, too, like little Kenton. He stayed a little longer and made another marker; After all, this too was where Kenton Windstrummer had died. Where he gave himself a new name, Sondin Vertrym, and vowed to avenge the deaths of his parents. Where he vowed not to stop until there were no more Vampiri left in the world.

The human known as Kenton Windsrummer was truly no more. In his stead was Sondin Vertrym, hunter of the Vampiri. Sondin Vertrym, who covered hmself so that none would see his face, the face of Kenton Windstrummer. Sondin Vertrym, who had been so eager when he heard of a group of people dedicated to the destruction of the Vampiri like him that he gave no thought as to what their 'recruitment' process entailed. That of course brought other memories; memories of bitterness and hate. Memories of Sondin's last days of humanity.

The Silver Vampiri--of course, he had no idea they held that name at the time--had seemed like good enough people at first, though they did seem to avoid being out in open daylight. A few mugs of ale, and he was more than happy to tell them everything. That all he truly wanted in life was to avenge his parent's death. They even drank a few with him. At any rate, Sondin didn't care if they were ugly as orcs and turned into demons at night; they knew what he needed: the Vampir who killed his parents and where to find him.

And soon, that night came. The night where they took him hunting and he saw the face that haunted his dreams, that had haunted the dreams of little Kenton. The night where his father's silver sword stilled that face it had failed to so long ago. He felt...complete at that moment. And then...oddly--a sense of loss. He heard his companions speak of lives ending and new lives beginning. He was handed a drink and he obliged, thinking it a celebratory cup of ale. He barely had time to recognize the taste of blood before the pain began.

Thinking back on it, he really should have seen it coming, but blinded by hatred and a lust for vengeance as he was, they could have outright told him who they were and he still would have went along. No matter; What had been done had been done, and some mistakes cannot be righted. At any rate, he was stronger now, stronger than he could have ever dreamed as a human. And he had found psichorian magic, that had certainly come in handy.

Laughing to himself about the surprises of life, Sondin put his goggles back on and rewrapped his headscarf. Pausing one last time to look at the three markers, he left Kenton Windstrummer and his parents to rest in peace. He was getting hungry.

Fine world wise.

RPG wise:
Not bad; a little more information as to how he became a silver Vampir would be nice. On a balance side, make sure you emphasize that while he may have all of those abilities, none of them are nearly as developed as in other Vampiri.
