Strengths: Aella is physically strong and is exceptionally good at manual labor. She's really good at figuring things out and deciphering riddles and such. She's really smart, in other words. She's persistent and when she really wants to do something, she can do it whether she was originally capable or not; she finds a way. Aella is friendly and is mostly happy, no matter what. She's a dreamer. Aella is considerate and compassionate.
Weaknesses: She absolutely can't disobey her demanding mother. She can't bear to see anyone in pain, nor hurt anyone unless her other beliefs demand it of her. For example, if one strong belief, such as serving her mother in any situation, demands that she hurt someone, she will do it. (without ease mind you) She's emotionally weak. She can't bear to have others serve her in any way. She's clingy to anyone who she likes and is extremely hesitant to let go.
Appearance: Mid-back chestnut-brown hair that she likes to tie back, green eyes, short figure (roughly 4' 7"), usually wears trousers (though they aren't usual for a female in her era).
Bio: Aella lives in the common fantasy era which is roughly the middle ages. She was born in a forest on the egde of the town of Murnes (a large productive town with kingship and all) in the kingdom of Beag to her parents, Fidlema and Aldric. There, she lived loving both of her parents, mostly her father. When Aella was four years old, her younger brother, Thomas, was born. It was only a few years later when Aldric left the household. He left Fidelma because he had lost his job as a stablekeeper due to a fire and couldn't handle Fidelma and the children without the help she refused to offer. Unable to find something with the proper pay, Fidelma was on the verge of booting him out. He attempted to take the children, but she wouldn't let him and he didn't want to tear the children apart by fighting over them. Fidelma was always bitter and became even more so after Aldric left. She has treated Aella like a slave, practically. Fidelma became lazy and asks Aella to do everything. Aella hardly complains and only does so when she is angry. She takes care of Thomas because Fidelma completely ignores him; he reminds her too much of Aldric whom she now hates. Aella learns to manage the household with what small wages she can get out of working in Murnes at a pub. Aella does all the work for her mother because she is desperately trying to earn the respect she once had from her father, even when she knows it will never be so. Tom is the only friend she has and they both stick together to make it through life.
