I don't find the Zelda characters particularly scary.

Who says it has to be frightenening? Unless, they're whores, princesses aren't scary, and they're very popular...Ganon's frightening, but hard to pull of...

Last year I dressed up as Tetra. Probably the best Halloween I ever had. Even went to school with it on. Everyone thought I was dressed as Aladdin though...that is, until I stuck a pirate hat on...(btw Senior + Zelda costume = Many wondering stares from classmates. It was funny >v<).

I still have the costume packed away in a box. It didn't take long to make either. I might were it again this year. I was told by friends (who actually knew who I was) that I looked exactly like her, except my eyes and hair were brown, my hair was up in a normal bun (didn't have enough hair gel to keep it in a spiral bun o.o) and I had glasses. It was fun ^^

Heh heh, my Mom always aid she'd hate to go to Austrailia, and I said, "Why? It looks pretty cool to me."

She replied, "There are SPIDERS all over the place!"

It's a good thing they've got Steve Irwin, eh? :P

I finished my costume last night and my brother goes and rips the side. My mom's going to fix it, cuz I don't know how to fix things.

I actually did think about organising a Halloween party for my uni friends, but it's a bit too close to exam time :(

Uh, as for the spiders, it's not that bad. You get the occasional one in your house or car, but do you ever see spiders in the US? Do they ever come into your house?

only in the damn boonies.
the difference isn't proximity, it's size. the biggest spider in northern america is the size of a dime... and the worst the south gets is harmless tarantulas.
england and australia get HUGE spiders that aren't all.. not-scary like tarantulas.. but are just bigger versions of tiny spiders.. meaning they climb walls and hide all over and are freaky! and are... like hand-sized.. i seen em!

^ like a huntsman? At least they are harmless. The bad thing is that they are so big so I don't want to squash it (like I do to most spiders) because it would make a huge mess on the wall, so you have to try and catch it and take it outside. And it's hard to do that when they are in an awkward spot, or when they run. But they are not dangerous at all, however they do make you double take when you walk into a room and see one, because of their size, lol!

Sorry for going so off topic. Only 2 days til Halloween...
