Name: Uchiha Rin (until she was 11 she used her mother's last name of Konoko)
Original: Yes
Origin: Naruto
Strengths: Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, is considered a bit of a ninja "genius".
Weaknesses: Taijutsu (hand to hand fighting), she jumps into battle which could mean not evaluating the situation properly, She is very quick to anger which can get her into some very difficult situations with mouthing off to the wrong people. Due to the fact that all of her ninja skills are ranged, she could be very vulnerable up close. She also has the in ability to back down to any sort of challenge, no matter if her oponent is much larger and stronger then her.
~Though Rin is an Uchiha, she will never develop the Sharingan in this RP. In the Rin that I play in another RP she develops her bloodline late into the age of 13, which will not come into play tell WAY later in this RP if never.
~Rin also may be the daughter of Uchiha Sasuke, but she has NEVER met him. He has had no contact with the young girl so has in no way had any thing to do with the skills that she has learned. She will not learn his skills during any time of the RP and really she does learn the Great Fireball Technique (which is an Uchiha technique) but it had nothing to do with meeting her father. Sasuke has no way shaped her training and strengths. It is just her blood that she has..nothing more.
Appearance:
Age ~ 12
Hair ~ long black hair that she usually keeps up in two buns on the back of her head.
Eyes ~ Black narrow eye. Eyes will change to Sharingan when she is on guard or quite angry.
Height ~ 5'3
Build ~ small, but she has a lot of muscle
Bio:
Rin Uchiha came from a strange and bizarre heritage. She was the child of a strange one night stand between her mother Suki Konoko and Sasuke Uchiha. Whether it was too much to drink or just a strange passion between the two was never told to Rin, all that was known is the two had a brief one night stand and Rin appeared some nine months later. Was the Uchiha male ever in formed of this pregnancy? No, for really even if Suki was given the oppurtunity to do so she never saw the Uchiha male again. Suki was left stranded and alone in the remains of the Sound Country forced into single motherhood. Instead of doing what was expected of a single mother, Suki embraced her pregnancy vowing to raise her fatherless child alone. After the birth of Rin, Suki, fearing for the conditions she was living in being a little unsatisfactory she moved herself and her daughter west to the Earth Country where she could hopefully start a new.
Suki entered the Earth Country quickly attempting to hide her identity. Maybe it was because she was nothing more then a mother with a infant child that she was allowed in with no real hassel. She was a foreigner who wanted nothing more then to raise a small child as a citizen of the Earth Country and leave her Sound ties behind. Soon after settling in and establishing herself somewhere to live Suki opened up a small business of a clothing shop and went into a type of 'ninja retirement' to be a full time single mom. She raised her young child as just that, a normal child. Other then the fact that Rin really looked nothing like her mother nobody suspected Rin was anything more then a normal Earth Country child.
Within a year of running her shop, Suki met a young man by the name of Shinta Orohima who she quickly fell in love and married. The man had already been married himself before that and came with a package of two older boys. Suki had went from being a single mother alone to what could almost appear to be the normal kind of family. The two later had a child of their own together named Matsuhi. Other the two older children, Matsuhi and Rin of course would be to young to ever know that they were anything other then full siblings. Rin would go several years before she would understand that Shinta was not her real father but her step father.
Suki never pushed her daughter away from learning Ninjutsu but at the same time strongly discouraged her from entering that particular field of profession. Her mother tried to convince her that it was a very dangerous path for a young girl, and was very un lady like. Rin protested a little feeling that unless she entered Ninja school she would be ostracized from the others. After a bunch of convincing her mom finally agreed but of course not until explaining that she needed to have a long talk with the young girl.
Suki feared that in the young eight year old Rin entered the Ninja academy that Rin would enter a situation that could mean her actual family blood finally boiling to the surface. Suki wanted to keep Rin's family history a secret but she also wanted Rin to feel free to be a Ninja if she so wanted to. Instead she figured she better tell the girl the truth about who her father was so that she would prepared for the extreme 'gifts' and potential bloodline she may develop.
Like any girl who just discovered that her whole life was a lie Rin of course didn't take it to well. Up until this point of her life Rin had been a bit of a momma's girl, she clung to her mother feeling of course that she was her "hero" now instead she found that her mom had just spent the last eight years of her life lying to her. She tried to stay open to this small history, going along with the little charade of learning her family technique and even keeping up with the idea of "hiding" her true family.
She started school along with the others of her age, discovering of course that a lot of her schooling came natural to her. But did Rin really like this? No, she went on for a couple years hating her natural ability, for really, she may have remained top of the class but for what? She wasn't skilled as the others, she didn't even have to work hard like her other classmates, it was because of her blood that she was skilled. She withdrew from her friends and went through a premature emo state.
A year from graduation Rin finally "got over" her emoness. She deceived that obviously family history wasn't anything she could change, she may have not known her father and he may be still out there somewhere, but Rin was here. She couldn't continue blaming her mother for something that happened in her past, she had been raised in a normal family; she had a mother, a step father, and three brothers. Not to mention she had this special blood running through her veins that made her a lot stronger then the others. It was a gift and Rin should very much treat it as such. After all, from what she heard from her mother she was possibly only one of two surviving Uchiha's in this world. She decided instead to finally embrace her family and and switch her name over to Rin Uchiha and announce herself as the child she was.
Whether Rin was welcome as a fatherless child was something else. Fatherless Ninja of course were decently common, but that of course was because most had simply lost their fathers in war. Here was Rin instead who was the product of the mixing of a bloodline and a "normal" nin. Her genius in school now had a new name, Rin was top of her class but with what merit? She was an Uchiha so was it really fair that she had this advantage the others didn't?
