Origin: Naruto World (Namely in the Earth Country)
Disclaimer: Members shouldn't be afraid to have characters scattered around the globe of the world if so be it. If they would like to be in the Leaf Country (the main setting for the actual series) then so be it. This RP is more or less based on an RP that Delphi, Chik, and I were part of off of LA, our three main characters were living in the Earth Country and that is where we would be located, since there is no actual plot line that has to be followed others can feel free to plain there characters where they shall feel comfortable, but if they want to RP with say me..or Delphi then I would recommend them being set in the earth country.
Time Period: About 18 years beyond the current time period.
Type: Free RP, I am not about to develop some huge plot line for this particular Rp. The idea is for it to be fun and enjoyable. If a small plot line erupts then it should be fun, but the idea of this RP is to be much like Naruto, and just be able the development of teams, and just having a good time RPing with your friends.
Plot: The Rp is going to be set 18 years from the current time line as I stated before, the idea is that it was just "graduation" from the Ninja academy in the Earth Country. The plot will be set on the development of teams, members of the RP are encouraged to with a couple of their friends make their own team. The plot line from there is pretty free with the characters in volved, the general idea is character development and to create missions for each of your characters to go on. Characters should make up some sort of techniques for your characters or just take a few basics from the series. There is some small rules I am asking (see rules) but mostly this is just a free for all RP that is set during the graduation from the basic school. The first post of the RP will be set on the actual day the teams are announced or right after in the meeting.
Characters:
Genin: I would prefer this, they should range from 10-13 of age as graduates. They can be from any nation but yes..main set up is in Earth country
Jounin: We will need some leaders of teams, this will grant your more freedom in abilities, Maybe if no leader is made up we can at least have them be NPC?
Unoriginal: Since this is set only 12 years after the series most of the actual characters of Naruto will be open. I am not going to state that all characters must be original but PLEASE take these in caution, Naruto IS going to be 12 years older so don't play him like he is 14. Also..no Orochimaru's at least..he is a VILLIAN and is most likely dead

1.) NO MADE UP BLOODLINES! The Naruto universe I admit does have these, but they are a rarety. The writer of Naruto is in charge of making them up and if there is only 3 great eye techinques then there are ONLY 3. Sharingan is a BIG no no since yeah the clan was all mass murdered. The Hyuuga bloodline I would allow in small doses if you want that. I will leave the character submission in charge of how many of those they want. Another bloodline that is allowed is Masachika which was made and created by Delphi herself. This clan WAS a bloodline but there is currently none that possesses it..if you want to have a character from this family contact Delphi about it.
The rest of the rules..yeah stick to the real RP rules about characters no godliness blah blah blah.

Original: Is this your own character or one from an existing game/show/etc.? If yes...
Origin: What the liscensed character is from
Strengths: What's s/he good at.
Weaknesses: What s/he's weak to and not so good at.
Bio: Just tell a little bit about the character.
It is really quite simple XP for this RP..the first part you need to do is determine gender and a name. I am sure you are going to play a girl so yeah.. just think of a name. After that you need an age..if you want them to an adult ninja which will be a little more difficult for you since you have a little less experience with the series I would suggest you go with some one near 11-16. Original put down..yeah it is Original and the Origin is Naruto.
Strengths:
decide if you want to have a character who uses more illusions..or mind altering (which is Genjutsu).. Ninjutsu (meaning some more special attacks like special moves the characters do in Naruto) or Taijutsu (physical like karate moves). These will serve more or less as your characters "strengths" you can also put in like quick movements.. or something along that line.
Weaknesses
well.. those could be anything from something like.. hard headed..or as being yeah weak to physical attack because they use a technique like Ino in the series who completely traps herself in another's body which places her in harms way for somebody to attack her "main body" Delphi submitted a good bio of weaknesses with Sakura who is just weak to her over emotion that controls her completely. Really this is going to be your hardest spot because strength and weakness is hard to do ^^
Appearance
..you can add in which can be handy for you XP add like age..and what they look like..Steel Samurai likes to have a piece about personality which I think is useless but if you want to add go ahead. But to me I always end up changing the personality anyway. But it could also be useful to at least think about so you know how you want to play your character.

This..I can help you beef up if you want. Mostly just try to think of some questions:
*Where were they born?
*When did they decide to go down the path they are now?
*Did they have any really relevant things happen in their life that shaped them how they are today?
A lot of people like to put emo things such as a parent dying..or some horrible tragedy such as the whole village being burned..either way it seems to end up with either with them being widowed or orphaned. As for me..I usually go with normal.. XD just because i like them to be believable..and how many people end up orphaned and decide to be ninja?
Other useful information:
This was a chart submitted in one of the chapters of Naruto recently that shows how elements work in this world. Elements are things such as Jin's lightning and water jutsu's. Usually unless a character is very skilled they only have ONE elemental attack that they use..sometimes they are special like Sasuke Uchiha who has Fire AND Lightning. A test with a simple scroll is used to determine it

Masachika Clan Information
The Masachika clan is an ancient and previously very influential clan in the Village Hidden Among The Rocks. Their scouting abilities were beyond legend as with their bloodline limit Hyakubun Matsudai they could hear even the quietest whisper on the wind. Their wealth grew with each scout employed in missions. But then, about fifteen generations ago, the number of people with their bloodline started to diminish. In a mere four generations, there were no more ninja born to the clan with the Hyakubun Matsudai. Desperate, the members of the clan began to inbreed. Their hope was to force the trait to appear again. Eleven generations passed and while there were rumours of those born with the trait that is all they were. Rumours. Instead of bringing the bloodline to the forefront the clan instead grew weaker as genetic anomalies accrued through their inbred lineage. The clan is now only a shadow of what it once was.
Hyakubun Matsudai (Hearing a hundred times, forever/perpetually)
The Hyakubun Mastudai was a bloodline trait that allowed those possessing it to have extraordinary hearing. Whether it was being able to hear specific conversations amongst many in the next room over or to hear things miles away depended on the skill and strength of the blood in the user. The trait disappeared many generations ago.
Rules of the Masachika Clan
1. Family name is always placed before the given name (Ex: Yui is my character’s given name. So her full name would always be written or spoken as Masachika Yui). Those that do not consider themselves part of the family anymore often don’t follow this rule. There are few that leave the family.
2. Most Masachika don’t marry outside of the clan.
3. This family had a bloodline at one time. If you play a character from this family you cannot exhibit the bloodline trait without my (Delphi’s) approval. I can tell you that probably 100% of the time I’m going to say no.
4. This family is not a normal family. Your character will probably have issues from being in this family. Not to say they have a wansty childhood but it’s certainly not a loving bunch of people. Not only that but generations of inbreeding has caused some of them to have severe genetic disorders. A perfectly healthy and normal Masachika hasn’t been seen in years. They are a dying clan.
5. Women keep their hair up in elaborate styles as an example of their wealth. Men keep their hair back though it can be varying lengths.
6. To be blunt, most Masachika only see sex as either a tool for procreation or a weapon. Other than that it’s kind of a taboo subject. Running out and having a one-night stand with no gains, benefits, or without the intention of having children is extremely out of character for them.
