it wouldn't let me start my own topic earlier... but now it is, anyway so this is kind of a double-post (sorry about that)

anway, if someone is willing to help me... i will be forever thankful!

ok, so, i need help w/zelda 64, the water temple. I got towards the very end (the room right before you get the boss key) when to my surprise it became clear tath I missed a key somewhere along the way. so I went through a guide to figure out which key I've missed... It is the one you get after receiving the longshot, you're supposed to play the song of time on the blue block, fall through into another room, and get a key in there...

so i went back, went through the room where you fight dark link (having already defeated him) and went into the room where you get the longshot. I went and played the song of time over the blue block and... nothing happened... no matter what, nothing happens after I play the song, the block doesn't disappear like it is supposed to! I'm unbelievably frustrated, and I really don't want to have to start this game all over again... can anyone help?

It won't disappear if you are standing on the block. You have to be near of it, but not on it.
