I once was surfing in LA and found a thread where admins and mods were insulting each other... But I haven't found it anymore
EDIT: I found the thread again, and it wasn't admins and mods. But that didn't make it any better...

There has never been any public admin fighting during my LA lifetime.

No I think the forums got hacked by someone instead, can't say for sure because in those days I had dialup and didn't sign up as a member.

Judging from what they said it was a long time before any of us came about here, so of course people are going to miss it.

Well, yes, if what I found is from that war is from some time ago.
And it seems it was because or after some hack...

Aew you talking about the Necro thing? Not that I actually know anything... He was a former admin who had some disagreements, or something. But if Vet says there was no public war I'd take his word for it.

No, the hack was something else...I deduced that much from Lena's dorm site thingy cause it doesn't mention anything about an admin fight.

Well, what I found is not exactly an admin war. And happened after some hack (I don't know if it's teh same hack as the one that we all know)

1 - There have been multiple hacks over the years. At least three, but probably more.

2 - Admins and mods do not insult each other in public except on very rare occasions, and I do not remember an altercation in this incarnation of LA.

3 - Necro was before even my time. Or was at least gone by the time I genuinely began to post. He was a major admin here who was eventually banned for various reasons. Bad attitude, disagreements with Khuffie, and so forth. I wouldn't really label it a 'war.'

4 - No, DarkLink, it was not entertainment for the members, and a genuine conflict between administrators should not be seen as a form of amusement.

5 - Any threads with mods fighting in it was most likely in jest. Again, I do not remember any admin/mods arguing in public since the last hack. Before then, I remember one or two events, but those threads have been lost, obviously. We've argued before, though it is rare, but it's always in the mod forum or over IM.

Wait just a minute!!! I was talking on to someone MSN who asked about "WarriorOfDestiny!" I can't remember if the guy claimed he WAS WarriorOfDestiny or not, but it certainly has most of the earmarks of Koroks Rock's conversation.
