The object of this game is not to win, but it is to make the characters you create battle with or against characters invented by the other posters. When introducing your character, give a brief description of their abilities, as defined within the following rules:
The Random:
Well, there really are no rules, yet somehow, the Random Battle seems to work. Just make it up as you go, and try to keep it fair and just and whatnot. Also, do not decide what happens to other characters, even as a result of your own actions. Leave that up to the character's owner. And don't do too much in any given span of time, which means don't attack people who haven't posted responses for their characters.
Remember: The object of the game is not to win the battle, just to do the Battle.
Multiple Characters: If you want more than one character in the Random Battle, try to make your characters fight each other so that there is roughly the same level of power on each side of the Battle. (So, don't create an army of 50 000 Apocalypse Machines, unless these machines will be fighting amongst each other. This keeps them from turning the tide of battle. Turning the tide makes the battle end. Ending invokes Nothingness. Nothingness invokes boredom. So, do not turn the tide without allowing balance to quickly be restored.)
As for the rest, let's just make it up as we go.
