With an iPad I can lock rotation and flip it upside down! But it makes typing difficult

...No, it makes perfect sense for that thread. We flipped LA upside-down this April Fool's, and that's what it's referring to. You can orientation-lock the iPad and just use it upside down, and LA worked fine (it's what I did that day). But, the keyboard didn't follow, and typing comments was a bitch.
