Just a note - telling anyone, especially a supermod, to "Good GOD shut the fuck up" and "I hate you" is probably not a very smart thing to say.
As for further elaboration, Rule #1 was "be nice" - well, that went out the window. Rule #2 = excessive swearing - again, "stfu" not a good thing to say. Rule #5 is elitism - again, telling anyone what to do is not a smart thing.
Rules 1 and 3 in the contro rules pertain to tolerance, respect, and no flaming. Riiight out the window.
Enjoy your cool down period.

If there's one thing I've learned is that self-hatred isn't allowed or appreciated here, my advice is if you're feeling angry or depressed then take time-off to get it out of your system before coming back to talk.
@Reflectionist, God doesn't hate you and we don't either, so cheer up. ^^

I've always known Reflectionist to quote the Bible often in a discussion... but he was unusually 'self-destructive' today, I mean to apologise for joining this forum?

Bah, I'm sorry but I can't say I have much sympathy...the guy pretty much called me an idiot, twisted my words around, and belittled me as much as he could. I'm sure he shouldn't have reason to hate himself but treat people like crap and you won't get much sympathy for your own self-loathing...just my two cents...now I'm off because this place gives me the creeps =P *runs off*

Actually those "I'm sorry" statements were not actually apologies. They were disguised insults, like saying "I'm sorry you're so ugly" or "I'm sorry for your ignorance". It's more like "I feel sorry (for whatever I'm about to insult you for)".
Common tactic.

I just read that thread.

I didn't mean his sorry statements -.-;, I'm not that stupid. I meant his constant "I hate myself" comments...

That doesn't particularly sound like an apology to me.I apologize that I even joined this forum.
I apologize for engaging in conversation with you
You were sarcastic. Angry. More than vocal enough to get your points across. We did NOT suspend you because we have anything against your beliefs, your logic, or your personality. We suspended you because you needed time to cool off.
Meanwhile,
Frankly, the type of 'sorry' you appear to be hardly envokes feelings that you have any sort of remorse.Apology (n): a written or spoken expression of one's regret, remorse, or sorrow for having insulted, failed, injured, or wronged another
We're not asking for you to be on your knees begging for us to love you. We're not asking for you to change what you believe. All we want is for you to treat your fellow members with respect and equality, and that is what we can hope you will receive in response.
No, you didn't get the chance to fight back against many of the statements made in this thread, and that is regretable. The leaders should not have let the responses go on as long as they did. However, that does not change the fact that when given the chance to fight back in the Contro thread in question, you verbally assaulted more than one member. It was the Contro section, for heaven's sake. If you felt that you were being treated unfairly, you should have said so to a mod. I myself try very hard to fix problems between members if asked to do so, regardless of my feelings toward one side or the other, whether you can believe it or not considering the current circumstances. But you have to expect to see resistance in Contro, as everyone there does.
You also have to take responsibility for your actions, like the rest of us. Continuing to be angry after the fact is okay, but only in small doses. I don't say this to pretend to be your therapist. I say this as a warning.

The only reason I stepped in is because yes, actually, I'd care to see you stick around and contribute to LA, so don't bite my head off because I stuck my head in to stop the slander.EDIT - Oh, and toan.... Thanks for saying "offender" like I'm some sort of soul less robot that only exists as a figment of your imagination. It's not like you respected me with saying that I have my own thoughts, fears, desires, hopes and personality. They did that in the Crucible, too. People that they know by name... they just refused out right to talk to them. Just pretended like they were less than human.
I never saw the Crucible. That said, I can spell "offender" pretty easily. I'd rather not butcher a name when I'm in a hurry.
Lastly, thanks for neglecting to use the shift key.

So, I'm sorry, and although I'll still participate in the forums, I'm distancing myself a little to avoid alienating you guys.
You're my friends wether you like it or not, ya know. ;-)
