scrool down to "how old is link in the game?".I dont know if i missed something, but has there been any news for the last month regarding something like this.
"12. How old is link in the game?
Link is rumored to begin the game at 16 years old although he will age throughout the game. Though it is yet kept under wraps how it will exactly unfold, we will see Link as a child, as an adolescent and as an adult."
has there been any confirmation that we will be able to play as link, during most of his life time.Or any possibility that would fall into this???.

Well, we've actually been told his exact age, in Eiji's interview with Club Nintendo magazine:
More digging...CN: In this game, we’re seeing a more mature Link. How old is he again?
EA: In this story, Link is 17 years old.
It seems they based this information from an interview with a Spanish magazine, Hobby Consolas:
That's a little ambiguous. It could just mean he matures mentally. Although apparently the Spanish magazine says he starts out as a 16 year old.But the direct Spanish tranlsation of a passage in the article states that "although Link will be an adult at the start of the adventure, he will also mature little by little, over the passage of time."
A third interview seems to clarify the matter, the interview with IGN:
Eiji Aonuma: Well, obviously one of the main themes of the Twilight Princess is the fact that Link is starting the game off as an adult. One of the primary themes in other Zelda games has been that Link matures throughout the adventure. This time because Link is starting off as a more mature Link already, it then becomes difficult to try and express that in the game as players play along. So this time around one thing that we focused on in addition to it being a more adult Link and thus being able to do a lot of things that a younger Link wouldn't be able to, was to balance that out and not only change the gameplay but also give players an option to grow mature throughout the adventure. One way we found to do this was to have Link transform into something other than a human, by which he would lose the ability to behave as a human.
Basically, he matures by learning how to cope with becoming a wolf.

Quite a lot of those answers seem to be complete speculation, or even against some of the information we've been given so far, so I wouldn't trust it too far. I think that answer is extrapolated from one of the interviews... Let me see if I can find it.
