I'd like to start off by letting a few things be known about this character before you begin picking and clawing. One, he is not a normal character; he is the antagonist in my RPG, and I wanted a little more control over him then if he were a NPC. Secondly, several parts of the biography have been removed, along with his major weakness, due to secrecy issues. If I told you about them now, a large part of the storyline in which he is to take place will be spoiled. If it is alright with the moderators, and should these parts be needed, I would like these parts to be discussed via PM. With that out of the way, let's get started.

Part I

Name: Normodor

Race: Human-ish

Gender: Male

Age: Undefined, though speculated somewhere in his 30s

Height: About 6'2"

Weight: 160 lbs

Hair Color/Style: Normodor's hair is ash grey, worn long down his back, past his shoulders.

Eye Color: Normodor's eyes are the same, ashen grey as his hair. His right eye has a thin, diagonal black slash through it.

Build: Normodor is lank, almost skeletal in appearance. He is prodominetly right-handed, though is more then able with his left.

Origin: n/a

Part II

Strengths and Abilities: Normodor, though he seems skeletal, is quite strong. To call him powerful might be an overstatement, but he is much stronger then his appearance states. This can lead enemies to be off guard around him, takign him as a minimal risk. Normodor also has the gift of silver tongue; he can lull the weak and undefended to his whim, or anger them into a rage so deep they cannot stop themselves from attacking. He can slip into a crowd quite easily, leaving nothing behind but a confused follower.

Weaknesses: Traveling across the universe took quite a toll on Normodor's mind; such pains, even, so as to cause the slow and painful degeneration of his sanity. Often, his normally calm and serene demeanor shall be shattered; in it's stead, a murderous, raging beast, with no regard to anything. As time goes on, this degeneration gets deeper, infultrating every aspect of his life. Also, while he is strong, he is by no means a fighter. He detests physical combat, and cannot hold his own for very long in an intense fight.

Biography: Not much can be said about Normodor before he came to our world. Maybe he was a pacifist; maybe he was a psycho. It is impossible to tell, nor would one truly wish to find out. All that matters now is that he is homicidal.

It is generally agreed that Normodor was not born in our world, nor has he been a resident for long. His entrance can be marked by the strings of murders, which started upon his suspected arrival. To further the rumours, witnesses can testify to hearing him speak of "portals" and returning home, whereever home is. These witnesses(and lucky survivors of his wrath) describe him as cold and uncompassionate. His murders are often frivolous; ranging from lack of use of a person, to just because he can.

It is this murdering nature that has led to the bounty to be placed upon Normodor's head; Normodor, however, couldn't care less about a bounty on his head. In his opinion, if any of these "shortlings" can kill him, he deserves to die.

I know this probably isn't nearly enough to get him approved. I say probably only because miracles have happened before (Hell, Lazarus walked out of his friggen' grave), but I'm not holding onto too much hope.

Yeah, that bio is going to need quite a bit of work, as it gives nothing more then a bare bones story. You can quite easily expand upon this without spoiling what you wish to keep secret - for example, expand upon these supposed eyewitnesses seeing him leave, or to the reasons and history of how this bounty was placed on his head. It can work, but you need to have a lot more details in what you've presented. It would also behoove you -cough- to relate his strengths and weaknesses to what's in the bio.

Start working.

These witnesses(and lucky survivors of his wrath) describe him as cold and uncompassionate, though strangely serene. Those who saw him seem to lose their memories of his presence quite quickly, but never lose the feeling of being soiled. With his skeletal appearance, it was believed that he was the embodiment of Death, coming to take their sinning souls to Hell. His brutal murdering of a covent of nuns only increased these rumors. His murders are often frivolous; ranging from lack of use of a person, to just because he can. His process of murdering is fast and swift; his movements are quick and vicious, with an air of grace. The victims are often not killed outright; they are flayed slowly and painfully, until they succumb to the pain. The distance between these murders slowly decreased, as the number of murders skyrocketed. It is said that he was able to elude an entire faction of the Royal Guard by slipping into a crowd, and slowly killing them one by one.

As the murders escalated, word spread across the empire, eventually reaching the high ears of the Emperor himself. Fearing upheaval by his people, he asked his advisors what action should be taken. All but one of them suggested placing a bounty on his head; the lone one was executed for treason. Although the reward for his death was outrageously high for a single man, none of the local guilds could so much as challenge his might, and those who did found themselves in pools of blood. As each guild reported it's failure, the Emperor turned to his friend and long time protector, Alexander Remal, also known as the Blood Knight. It was he who suggested that others be brought to battle this beast.

As the fliers were sent across the four lands, Normodor himself appeared in the Emperor's throne room, supposedly sneaking past the numerous guards and dizzying pathways. One guard, in fear, tried to attack him. He was found with his arm ripped clean off, and his blade thrust through his throat. Upon his arrival, he warned the Emperor of his doings. The following passage is the general concensus of what he said; most who heard it had little recollection of him even being there. It is agreed that what was said was quite disturbing.

At this, the Emperor's guards rushed foreward, ready to slay him where he stood. However, he stood quite still, and spoke aloud a few simple words, which none can remember. Upon hearing them, the guards raised their blades and thrust them through their eyes. Smiling, Normodor winked at the Emperor, before walking slowly out of the room. There have been no reported cases of him since, but bodies continue to be found.

Better...but that new part about the guards suddenly killing themselves bys voice has no basis whatsoever in the strengths category - a silver tounge, after all, is only a person with a good orator, not one who can inexplicably control someone just like that.

Much better, but you still need to add more to those bits about the stories surrounding his escapades and whatnot - you still have yet to attatch his strengths and weaknesses into the bio in a satisfactory manner, so work on that.

Keep it up.

After his speech, Normodor challenged Alexander to a battle. Knowing that his reputation was on the line, he accepted it. Better then the initial. You still need to flesh out the bio quite a bit more. Like I tell everyone, if you think you're going overboard with the detail and backstory, you're only halfway there.

Keep it up.

In one of these instances, witnesses say that Normodor slowly peeled the skin from his victim, slice by slice, and forced the man to swallow them, until he choked upon them. In another instance, a man was found crucified on the cross of a local church, his intestines snaking down from him.

The distance between these murders slowly decreased, as the number of murders skyrocketed. He is careless in these murders, not caring if everyone from the rats in the sewer to the Emperor on his throne is watching. His boldness leads to many chases by the Emperor's Guard. Oftentimes, they come very close to catching him, when he enters a large crowd and merely vanishes. It doesn't matter if they close off the streets, or slay the innocents in the crowd; once he slips in, there's no finding him again.

For some time, the murders were isolated and spread apart, with minimal casualties in each case. However, this changed after the Lockhurst Massacre. The killings, which took place in the military camp of Lockhurst, lying a few miles west of the capital, took the lives of 9/10ths of the squadron. The survivors tell a similar story of horror: during the middle of the night, Normodor snuck into the camp, slitting people's throats as he went. He had killed almost a hundred men before the alarm was raised. After the men were awoken, they rushed Normodor, swords drawn. Despite the overwhelming odds(nearly 2,000 to 1), and the superb training of the troops, Normodor managed to slay over half of them in outright fighting; the remaining soldiers, split and confused, were picked off one by one. Though there were many survivors, none of them were unscarred: all had lost at least one limb, and some were scarred beyond recognition

Not wasting a beat, Normodor brought his knee up, smashing Alexander right between the legs, and dropping him to the floor.

Rising to his feet, Normodor began to laugh; it was a low, cold laugh, filled with hatred. As Alexander rose again, Normodor kicked him again, this time in the face. Blood flowed slowly from his nose, splattering onto Normodor's boots. Sneering, Normodor bent down and whispered to Alexander. "How does it feel, 'knight', to have your honor stripped from you, and your pride molested?" Alexander responded, "You have no honor or pride, beast, so how can you take mine?", and spat in Normodor's face. Smiling, Normodor rose again, and kicked Alexander over and over, until his boot was completely covered with blood. Lifting his foot, he placed it upon Remal's face. Underneath the sole, Alexander's breath came in small, painful rasps. Normodor, chuckling, ordered Remal to lick his boot, or he would crush his head. Feeling the pressure on his face increase, Remal slowly licked the boot.

At this, the Emperor's guards rushed foreward, ready to slay him where he stood. However, he stood quite still, and spoke aloud a few simple words, which none can remember. The guards slowly dropped their weapons, staring in befuddlement Smiling, Normodor winked at the Emperor, before walking slowly out of the room. As he walked, one of the guards screamed to him that he violated his mother, though not in such nice terms. Without notice, Normodor quickly turned back around and grasped the guard by the head, screaming at him, "DON'T YOU EVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MY PAST! YOU KNOW NOTHING OF ME, YOU FOUL-SMELLING SHIT!". In rage, he crushed the guards head, splattering blood across the room. He continued to stand there for a minute, muttering gibberish under his breath, before turning around and walking out. There have been no reported cases of him since, but bodies continue to be found.
