Interesting. So now we know Hylian's name right?

Well, just to let you know, I have a very unique lastname, starts with a z, and in german (a incy ammount of me is) means small, or something like that. Guess all you want but I bet you won't get it ^.^

Sorry 14, none of those names aren't even close to mine, supposively that's what I've been told, but then again, that meaning for small cigar looks more italian than german.

"Good" In german is "gut"

As in:

Hallo! Ich Heiße Adumae, und du? Wie Heißt du?

Ich Heiße Hylian!

Ah! Das ist gut!

I was only wondering what "good" would be in german. I don't actually speak it (german).

I tried learning german out of those language books but two days after I threw it across the room. German can be pretty hard to learn, just like Japanese.

But Ukrainian I've learnt after a couple years. In Ukrainian good means "??????" or do-bre if you can't really read it. You would say the bre just like in 'beret' (too bad the forums don't support any slavic font :(). then there's (doo-je) dobre which means very good.

All languages are hard to learn if you dont start learning them from a young age.

I only know about three languages, and one of them I still have trouble with.

Guess when I started that? In preschool at my church. I guess you can say that I am somewhat fluent in it but then again, haven't taken another class for about a year now. ( I learnt it through a program in my old schools, high school doesn't teach it unless you take the exam.)

I always thought the German for small was klein, as in:

Eine kleine Katze (a small cat)
Ein kleiner Hund (a small dog)
etc.

Firstly, chill :) secondly, you didn't really have to explain that you dont speak german when you made it obvious in your first sentence :P

And Wolf is right, I believe, from what I remember...

And whoever said German was difficult, it's about the same as English. They both evolved from Germainic, or however you spell it.

They're not that similar. I mean, English doesn't have bizarre compound words like Kontaktlinsenverträglichkeitstest (contacts-lens compatibility test).

I find German easier than French, though. It's more structured. Not that I've learnt either since GCSE...

Of course not, but you don't look at the words, you look at the grammar.

Which would mean German is even less like English, because in English we don't give genderd to all our nouns.

Gee, only three languages, Kitsune? :P

From what I've heard German's easier to learn than a romance language like, say, Spanish or French.

I may as well ask this; is English truly one of the more complex modern languages?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think "contigo" is a different tense of "conmigo", which means "with me".

If I'm right, it's probably "with you"...

"Que" has like a million different meanings....

To my English/Spanish dictionary!

*doo doo doo doo doo doo doo!*

"Que pasa" means "What is the matter".

So I'd say "What is the matter with you?" fits pretty well. :P

Oh, while I'm here.

*looks up "contigo"*

Ha, I was right.
