Well, I don't know which heart pieces you already have, so I can't tell you which you're missing.
Personally, I always complete games (i.e. get to the credits) without guides, but then allow myself to use guides to find things like missing heart pieces, gold skulltulas or what have you. Mainly because I'd get bored running all over Hyrule listening out for a scritchy noise everywhere.
Thank you, that's probably what I should do. Beat the Game then use the Guide to find everything. I'll do that from now on.
By the way, I've almost beaten Lttp (SNES) and I think there's a heart piece in the Lost Woods Treasure Chest game, but I'm not sure. I only need 1 heart piece to finish my collection. <Still haven't beaten the game...>
