You goes to My Computer/Computer, and you should click on either System Information or System Properties for XP or Vista, respectively. For Windows 7, I have no idea.

Just out of curiosity, does your computer have at least 512 MB of RAM? If so, you should be able to run Halo 1 without any trouble.
