I've been a Ninty fan for god knows how long, and have always been a prurist, no other consoles, not because i was against them, but because i did not need to buy them, but for a while now there have been not enough games to fill up my playing time. All my friends, ex-purist i might add, have also bought an X-Box in the last couple of months due to this drought and i am considering the same, I'll always be a ninty fan first, but others may not be, and although some great games are in the works, they are still 'in the works' and have some way to go yet!'

I've only owned Nintendo systems, partly because I love Nintendo and want them to win, but also for more practical reasons: I don't have the kind of money to be able to own and support two systems. If I actually bought two, I'd only be able to get a few games for each throughout their entire lifetimes. Thus, I only buy the system I want the most, and gaming without Mario, Link, and Pokemon would just suck. Miyamoto rocks.

I would normally, but i'm getting better and better at games, compleating them sooner, and there are no Ninty only games this year that have made me squeee!

-watches this thread-

If I even hear one bit of console bashing this dies a horrible death. So just be careful. ;)

I was a solid Nintendo fan from the '98 OOT era, drawn in by what can only be called the "squeee!" factor HHM mentioned, and remained such until Wind Waker was announced. Nothing since Ocarina of Time has really set off that "MUST-HAVE-RIGHT-NOW" trigger in my head except Halo.

So if it says anything more, in 2003 I got an Xbox.

I am a defector! :P
