This doesn't even make sense! Why would they put a show, made specifically for kids, on Adult Swim?!
Any word on what AS will be dropping to fit this in?

I think Samurai Jack should completely replace The Brak Show on Sunday, cos The Brak Show just isn't funny at all, and then they should move Aqua Teen Hunger Force back to weekdays to empty out the slot for Samurai Jack.
pshaw. CHILDREN'S SHOW? I have never seen a child that ever showed an interest in Samurai Jack. You really appreciate it when you can look at it as an exceptional, artistic cartoon.
I'm done. Sorry for going contro on your lilly butts.

No, I do like the show, but...it's just not meant for AS.

I've got the movie, and if you put it into your DVD-ROM, it gives you backgrounds and desktop icon sets.

But putting SJ on AS is dumb. It's a kid's show.

I forget the episode number, but there was one particular show that could've been so very gory if they had tweaked a couple things.
Jack fights a giant herd of Aku's minions. They're all robots, and there must be a good 200-300. In Kill Bill-esque style, Jack slices them to pieces in a meticulous kunf-fu movie fashion, 2-3-4 at a time, and their oil shoots out like a geyser from the severed parts and ...chasis?, covering him more and more completely until the end, where he's just all soaked and dirty and sexy in robot juices.
If you somehow had humans and blood in there instead of robots and their juices, it wouldn't be more adult-oriented, it wouldn't be shown on Cable TV!
The backstory involves entire towns being slaughtered. His parents are killed defending him. Not exactly oriented towards impressionable children. Jack dishes out death by the bucketful in most episodes, and as an added bonus, sometimes strips down to his jock strap.
Pfah, I say to you naysayers. adult swim has some really mediocre shows, and I think Samurai Jack would add something decent back into the programming.
Yeah. Thats a shitty conclusion, but I really have to get to my bus. Shit.

Saturday? Kids shows?
Let me make a list:
Venture Brothers - spoof of Johnny Quest. Made for 30 year old kids.
Futurama - Simpsons for the workingman.
Inuyasha - The FF7 of Anime. Big swords and not nearly enough hooking up.
Wolf's Rain - Serious, composed show that kids can't get into. (Hell...I couldn't get into it at first.)
Cowboy Bebop - Maturely humorous.
Trigun - Anime with guns and blood.
Well..uhm...yeah. Kid friendly.
I don't think ANYTHING adult swim airs is meant for a children's audience, cos its on at 11 EST. A time not meant for children in the first place.
