And it's very interesting that they're launching in the US first. Sounds like they're trying new things....

I believe the official explanation is that people in the US simply seemed more receptive to the idea of a dual-screen handheld.

Japanese people are fad-crazy, they see something new that might be "cool" and they're all over it like a mental disease on a hillbilly.

If the first part of the sentance isn't enough, check the disclaimer.

Hopefully Nintendo will fix that "single player only for GBA" and then this will be 1 90% perfect system. Also, Metroid: Flesh Hunters (hey, cool name change) demos are going to be released with... what?

Heh, funny you should mention that. Americans are extremely fad-crazy. Case in point, Pokemon and then Yu-Gi-Oh.

$150 is £83. It will definately be at least £100 for us, in my opinion.

They most likely won't release official bundles untill they get enough people to buy it outside the bundle first. Nintendo love gimmicks like the Japanese love gashapon and like Texans like possum.

We despise possums...besides, the correct term is Opossum since the Possum is an Australian mammal that looks like the opossum.
At the very least., you could've gone for the stereotypical Longhorns, though Aggies would disagree.

I might look into getting it, although there are some applications that I find very odd. The two screens don't seem to be all that special...I mean, one of them is usually just a map or something. However, the chat feature looks ridiculously wicked. If only I lived in an area where there is enough people to run into another gamer with a DS...

We get royally screwed when it comes to video games. I won't be a surprise if it does end up £150 here.

Have you seen the Japanese launch price? According to NCL's official website, the Nintendo DS will launch in Japan for 15,000 yen (136 dollars). So we're getting a 14 dollar markup, because Nintendo loves the number 15.
