Well, in case you're unfamiliar with the concept of a "favorites" section...simply answer this question. "What's your favorite game(s) and why?" 'Nuff said.

Anyway, I'll start.
My favorite game is Final Fantasy Tactics. The gameplay, the storyline, the characters, the total customizability (I don't think that's even a real word...). The fact that I just made a sentence fragment. Bah... Either way, I love Tactics and play it whenever I'm not playing anything else.
Second is CastleVania: Symphony of the Night. You can play as Richter Belmont AND Alucard in the same game. Need I say more?

Favourite: Thief II The Metal Age. A criminally underated game that defines the very meaning of stealth.

Second: Tough call. Zelda OOT, Perfect Dark, there's too many to choose from!

Earthbound and Skies of Arcadia constantly switch first and second. I've got a weird taste in games.

I like Orge Battle 64 because I had so many people to control and train to my liking. It was also neat to go on the long side quests to get the Dragoon, Lich, and Princess and having that rebel group on my team I forget who they were called, but I put them all together and they were like unstoppable.

I also loved Tales of Symphonia because it was a long game but kept you interested in it the whole way through and wishing it didn't ever end. It also have a unique fighting system for RPGs which was enjoyable for me.

But SSBM was the coolest game because you could play all the top Nintendo characters and fight against each other and the game never got old for some reason.

With the enormous number of games I could say as no. 1, I'd say it was Sonic I for the Master System II. I really, really think it was pure genius..... for it's time. If only there were more than 6 levels, as I enjoyed the spinny gold rings so much.... :)

That was a long time ago.

Newer favourite: I'll leave that for when Warhammer 40k: DoW comes out eh?

Zelda: Majora's Mask, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime, Super Smash Bros (original), & Perfect Dark. All great games which I played more than any other (except Metroid Prime, but it was so great the first and second time around that I had to put it on this list).

OK, I write me top ten list.

1- LoZ: AoL
2- LoZ
3- LoZ: ALttP
4- LoZ: OoA
5- LoZ: OoS
6- LoZ: LA
7- LoZ: TWW
8- LoZ: FSA
9- LoZ: OoT
10- LoZ: MM

Yeah, just call me a fan boy, but it's true that to me no other games beat Zelda. It's something about the feeling I get when playing it (one reason why AoL is on the top).

I also like the SMB games, Pokémon Gold/Silver and Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga. They come just behind LoZ: FS. B)

Disgaea: Hours of Darkness -> Best SRPG EVER!!

Ogre battle 64. True stories of how this game changed lives. =p

The test of time.

Hello everyone- I just bought this game today, and I'm very very very pleased. For the longest time my N64 sat collecting dust on its shelf. My mind was turning toward other games- Pokemon Fire Red on GBA and Fable and Silent Hill 4 on Xbox... Then while I was at a Gamestop across town I found Ogre Battle 64 for 20 dollars. I knew the game was rare, and my friend loved it and used to play it a lot when he had his 64. I picked it up right away and I've played the hell out of it already. Forget Silent Hill 4. Ogre Battle rules.

Still one of the best.

This was my first 64 game, and I, just like many other people, have yet to find a better one. More like it, I'm still trying to find more than 5 or 6 better ones on any system.

The incredible complexity. XD (2 months! o.o)

The first time I played ogre battle 64 I didn't know how to save so I left my 64 on for two months...

These are all real quotes, btw. =p
